I'm gonna have to be blunt on this. I love Trainz, always have. I've thrown thousands of hours into it right from when the game was first released 19 years ago. But the surveyor terrain tools NEED to be overhauled. These are the same tools we used 19 years ago and honestly, they are extremely lackluster. The only way to get proper beautiful rolling hills is to use external DEM programs. You need proper tools to create big rolling hills, not these nightmare country displacements and the raising and lowering tools which create mounds at best. The trains have always been awesome. But the surveyor is massively lagging behind in development. :(

Yeah, not gonna lie, I really wish they did that too. I am trying to build a montainous narrow gauge railroad, but it is extremely difficult with the current tools.

Actually, have a look at Simcity 4, made many years ago, or Simutrans, been around a few years now, both have a much superior way to make hills and such. Or how about the Might and magic series? No excuse for this to continue any longer and why hasn't the hole bug in TRS19 fixed yet?

Yep - all your TANE builtin and DLC will be available for in-game download. There are some important steps to follow for other content: online.ts2009.com/mediaWiki/index.php/Help:Importing_Content
