Of course David wanted his throne back. Anyone who believes differently is living in Never Never Land. The really scary thing is, the deeper we get into the lives of David and Wallis, the stronger the parallel between them, and Harry and his wife.

In light of the fact that Wallis was the one negotiating, I tend to think that it wasn't so much David, but her. SHE wanted the throne...a scenario that's still much like Harry & Meghan.

I’ve been saying for weeks how sick or eerie the parallels are. Personally I think they’re sick because I can’t be convinced that Sharkle didn’t study Wallis & David JUST as hard as she did Diana, just not as long. In fact there’s another book written by a woman called Anna Pasternak who wrote a book from Wallace’s perspective in 2019. One review I’ve just read from the Telegraph “This Mills & Boonish mess might be the worst biography of Wallis ever written.” One indication of the sort of writer she is. She has a connection to Sharkle via Hoho House in Toronto. She’s married to someone who was a friend of hers from memory. She wrote a negative article about Catherine in one of Sharkles pool of magazines but this one was in Tatler. Tatler had to remove one paragraph of the hatchet job on Catherine. She wrote a book from interviewing James Hewitt which the LA Times said it had few quotations & was written in the breathy style of a romance novel, so she’s obviously not very good but it sold over 500,000 copies 😱 It was also described as grubby and worthless. Bitter much? Pasternak tried to sue someone for copyright over something to do with one of her books on Dr Zivago - obsessed because of a connection with an ancestor. She tried to sue an American author for copyright infringement about one of her Zivago books and ended up having to pay £1 million pounds to the other woman. A Markle own goal. She declared bankruptcy after that. My point being EVENTUALLY - sorry- is you lie down with dogs…. In the end HMTLQ😢 played a blinder when Nott Cott wasn’t good enough so they spent £1.2 million on the apartment at Kensington Palace. The apartment that has one more room than Catherine and William . You’d think she’d be happy with that. They had to move elderly relatives out who’d been there for decades but no. Too close to the Cambridges even though the entrances were on opposite sides of the castle. Move in with granny at Windsor Castle. What person in their 90s wants their grandkid & probably great grandchildren moving in?? No one I know. Frogmore House?? No. Frogmore cottage with Wallis dead in the back yard 😂

@@michelegraham9044 Wallis and David are buried near Frogmore House (where Megs and Harry had their wedding reception) There are a lot of graves near Frognore House because it is near the royal mausoleum. Frogmore House is farther away from Windsor castle than is Frogmore Cottage (the backyard of FC touches the backyard of Adelaide Cottage (Where William and Catherine live)

Here we are thinking about the position and ranking Edward wanted on a return to the UK and comparing his position with Prince Harry. Well, we live in different times and I am beginning to feel that E was just as much, in private life, a pain in the groin as PH is known to be. What is it about some people with high ideals for themselves to think they can live to different social codes of practice from the rest of us. Some people are just unlikeable and a pain in the rectum despite their social ranking and standing.

Kind of eerie to me thinking about how we are on the verge of another potential (I genuinely hope it’s avoided) world war, and here are the Harkles still gallivanting about abroad, causing trouble and doing their best to be a security liability for the crown 😅🫠. If something really serious kicks off I can only imagine the drama that would ensue as they try to like … camp on the grounds if balmoral or something!!

Madrid: it was Wallis and Edward who deemed that the embassy was "unsuitable" - the average British embassy at the time was decorated to, and had the facilities of, a typical British country house, and Wallis was ever rude about the bathrooms! Yet more parallels with the Sussexes.

David managed to get into Charles' head and Charles felt sorry for David. David made his own mess Charles made his own mess Andrew made his own mess Harry made his own mess. All of them were indulged and told they were very special (entitlement factor through the roof!) At least, (despite the mess he made with Diana and Camilla) Charles put his hand to the plough and did his job as PoW and now as HMTK I am sorry he has become ill and I hope he recovers soon. It is too bad that Andrew did not step back and rexamine his life before he took that trade counsel position -- It was waaaaaay above his pay grade! (Fergie has been a bit of a grifter too -- Not a good thing for Andrew. But at least Fergie isn't mean like Wallis and Megs.)

Pity we stopped using the Tower its where Edward should have been put and where Harry should go. We used to have sevear penalties for traitors even Royal ones. I am amazed Edward was never assasinated . I think Churchill often flattered Edward to try to keep him under control, Churchill had been warning about the Germans for many years ( the wilderness years ). Maybe Harry is the reincarnation of his great great Uncle , it would explain the Nazi uniform, has the same lack of brains, and the do as I say not as I do, both are completely nuts. Also David never thought about the consiquences of his actions, what would have happened to Princess Elizabeth and her sister Margaret, his mother his brothers and their families if the Nazis won, crown jewels in Berlin, all the art etc in the country gone. The British would never have bowed to the Nazis he really had no idea what freedom means to the British people. William the conqueror stopped slavery in 106???, any slave brought to British soil has to automatically be freed. I got it wrong with the hymn Rule Britannia ( thought it was rhe slave trade ) but its the fact unlike the rest of Europe we could not enslave each other or be slaves.

You’re the greatest! It’s so nice to hear a new younger voice is opinion of what I’ve been hearing for years and years… I was just thinking about when you talked about David’s attraction to Wallace… Which is a perfect storm in my opinion, and you said in today’s video That everyone who met Wallace said she was witty, but cold, cold as ice… And I’m remember a statement after his mother queen Mary died, and he said that there was nothing but cold ice in her veins… David idolized his mother, he used to watch her get dressed, and all her diamonds, looking like a Christmas tree, and he was in Awe So there I think is another attraction to Wallace if she was called and he idolized his mother who was cold as ice more level to add to the David attraction pile. Thank you so much for doing these videos you’re so clear you’re so incisive and you notice details I haven’t even thought about, so thank you again.

But, his constant thirst for power, fame, and recognition makes all of this make no sense at all. The only possible explanation is that the man was truly an idiot. Illustrated, I guess, by his dream of becoming the future dictator of England. ~*~*~ 30:50: exactly! Bertie was made of much sterner stuff than David and their father knew it. Bertie had been an officer in the royal navy for six years, and the captain of a naval ship during WWI. He had what it took to be in command. The Nazis knew it was the fondest wish of David and Wallis to be placed on the English throne - even if it meant aiding a Nazi coup.

Lady C, I think it was, said gay men were willing to work for the Royal Family because they got some advantage with faced with arrest for their actions in regard to sexual preference. That sounds so stuffy. but that's it. The cops would not automatically arrest royal staff.

I believe that David initially thought ....if the English don't want me as king the Germans will. That didn't happen and so he looked back to England and encouraged the bombing for his power, not peace. I bet he hoped his brother was killed in the blitzing.

Seeing the photo of David and the little woman, on the book cover, it is rather unnerving how much Harry and KC III look like him (especially the weird expressions they both make), King George VI was a very handsome man, so I don't understand why his grandkids didn't inherit his good looks. Charles, Anne, and Harry are a rather homely bunch. 😒

Hello Cheere Denise , I love your channel and I have been watching since you read the spare.I love listening to you read the books and especially love your comments on all the books you have read. I'm subscribed but KZbin did updates and unsubscribed me from you and my other channels. I'm not much a chatter . I guess I'm a lurker but I don't never miss you cover a chapter on any book. I do love this book about traItor king but I'm also interested in what Jada has to say even though I can't really stand her. I hate the way she has done will . Also can't wait until you get to Brittney's book. Never change how you do things. You do an awesome job. Have a wonderful wonderful day.

Maybe Gray Phillips moved heaven and earth to get to the “Simpsons”(😏) because his job was to stay close, keep an eye on them, if possible steer David in “healthier directions”, and report back to Emgland? I’ve missed a chapter of you reading (I will be watching it after this video😉👍🏼), and might be wrong🤷🏽‍♀

The fact that David was clueless about Hitlers true motives makes me sick. Hitler and his freak show of followers must have gotten some great laughs behind David’s back. David would have single handedly turned the Allies over to Hitler on a gold platter. It was all due to David’s ego, pride, & constant demands. It was ALL ABOUT DAVID. Oh and lest we forget: The ‘Windsors’ were/are Germans. Their German name ( escapes me at the moment) was changed to Windsor as WW1 was inevitable. It’s not at all far fetched to have Nazi sympathizers among the Royals. TRAITOR KING WANNA BE!

The number of coincidental and similar behaviors between the Windsor’s and the Sussex’s is scary. Surely this is big time karma playing itself out in the RF. When you add Henry V111 and Boleyn it’s all the more scary. Evil buggers to be sure.

I am loving your review of this book. Listening to your Jada review as well, but lets just say I don’t look forward to that video like I do this one. Could care less about Jada’s life, this book shows history repeating itself with Harry & Meghan. Bone chilling how two soulless people can find each other and wreak havoc.

I’m listening to both books you’re doing. Jada’s book cannot hold a candle to this one! Sometimes I wonder which ex-royal couple you’re even reading about. The parallels are uncanny! How did David and gal not know Hitler was not going to double cross them? He had already shown disdain for them. What complete morons!

The royal family is not to blame in any of this chapter. They allow a return but David puts stipulations. He wants to give orders to the monarchy he abandoned. The duke wanted a post. Should have thought about that before leaving; same with Harry. All this to and fro! I imagine how difficult this time is for England and Churchill. Think of all his war prep and then he has this stupid "prince" to deal with. David's arguments show he is not truly thinking that the world is at war! Hello! People are dying. Bomb England to restore peace?? Uhm let's say it more truthfully. He was not seeking peace. He wanted England to surrender! Peace means surrender. Ending the war means England should surrender. They just use nice words to cover up disaster for everyone
