Just wondering if you have to remove it every time you pack down or not
@CarpCraftUK3 жыл бұрын
I remove it every time. it is a bit time consuming but its nothing to extreme. I only use the 200 for longer sessions so its worth the time getting comfortable, I would say the 200 is not ideal for the mobile angler, for that i use a brolly system.

Cool Bivvy I bought it 💥💥

Question 1. Why is the inner capsule a different green? Q2. Can it be collapsed with the capsule still attached and then still fit in the bivvy bag? Q3. Can a tempest be collapsed with the front panel attached and then put back up? Or does the front panel alwasy have to be taken on and off? Lots of questions 😂 I’ve never owned a Tempest but I’m in the market for the same as yours
@CarpCraftUK3 жыл бұрын
Hi mate, I assume the colours are different due to the different types of material. I personally take the inner capsule and front panel out each time as it’s quite heavy to try and fan open.Are you looking for a very large 2 man then these are good, 1 issue I find is fitting in certain pegs.
@jasonmoss73172 жыл бұрын
Hi just wondering if you can pack the bivvy away with the inner capsule still in also can you leave the skull cap on and pack away as well thanks buddy
@CarpCraftUK2 жыл бұрын
Hi mate, this is a popular question and the answer is , I’m not entirely sure. The bivvy is very large and fanning it open can be quite a challenge I’d image with the inner capsule attached this would be very difficult plus potentially rip the sewn in attachments. I put it up individually
@jasonmoss73172 жыл бұрын
Thanks yeah I should be getting mine in a day or 2 I probably will take out before packing down can I still have skull cap on when packing down or will I have to take that off cheers

Hi there can you have the overwrap and inner capsule on together?
@CarpCraftUK Жыл бұрын
Yes.
@MrNeilybee863 жыл бұрын
does the inner capsule fold away with the bivvy or do you have to disconnect everytime you put away
@CarpCraftUK3 жыл бұрын
I personally remove it each time. I’d be to worried about ripping the fabric attachments off when putting up and down.

@@CarpCraftUK i have the t1 but looking at something bigger and i can pack the t1 inner away with the bivvy
@CarpCraftUK3 жыл бұрын
The T1 is a great bivvy. The tempest 200 is huge.I only really use it for sessions 72 hours +.
@19luuk72 Жыл бұрын
Can you leave the Inner capsule in the tempest 200 when disassembling?
@CarpCraftUK Жыл бұрын
No this has to be removed each time.

Why isn’t the material the same colour
@generalmanager3843 жыл бұрын
Apart from extra clothing to keep yourself warm, how do you heat your bivvy.??
@CarpCraftUK3 жыл бұрын
Warm clothing is priority, a good base layer. Other than that just a good sleeping bag. When it really cold I get into bed early 😂. I’ve heard to many horror stories about bivvy heaters.
@generalmanager3843 жыл бұрын
@@CarpCraftUK 😂😂 of course clothing, hot drinks, and I use 2 hot water bottles for that added comfort
@CarpCraftUK3 жыл бұрын
Can’t beat a couple of water bottles tucked in the bed.

since I had the V2 Brolly, I dont trust 210D no more. Nice bivvy frame, but the fabric is crap.

The condens water drips through the mozzy on your face. The quicksticks are quick indeed. Broken. Ment for children tents I think? Never been at Salagou...
@CarpCraftUK3 жыл бұрын
I've not personally had any condensation come though onto me but a friend of mine has, like you say though rear mesh.in comparison to not having the capsule it was a minimal amount. The quick sticks? You mean the front storm polls? They are quick indeed but the tread on the thumbscrew is very low.could easily be cross threaded if not careful.
