Good product let down by cheap zips that fail. You only need to look to see how many of these are for sale in the second hand market. Anything of quality and good construction are hard to find. These are two a penny. All down to cheap zips that don’t last.

The chest strap makes the bag fit nice and tight which helps for comfort. I don’t carry mine for long distances so but don’t see an issue if I needed to.

Another method you could try would be put some stones in a pva mesh bag and tie this to the end of your line. Cast out, let the bag dissolve then real in the loose line. I’ve heard many people used this method in the past

@@CarpCraftUK I decided to go to a ball field and just tie a light bank sinker onto the end of my line open the spool walk it out a 100 feet or so then go back and cut off the sinker and then reel in the line holding the line tight and one Hand and therefore getting the twist out of the line

I fond if i have the lead at the top of bag it introduces wobble into the flight of the bag when casting out. Since that ive always kept the lead at the bottom just on top of some crum.

Residue a bad problem on pretty much all 4 bags. Seemed to b attracted to the hook and I'd not of been happy fishing like that. Didn't seem to bother him too much tho for some reason. Is it just that make if bag or are they all rubbish? Next time maybe?

I find with royal marine, if I add a bit of olive oil 24h before, they gey a strong coating almost, last a bit longer amd when being eaten they release oil. Cheaper than carpy oils too

Best way to not get no line twist is to take the line off the plastic spools the way it went on will never get line twist this bull about putting your line in a bucket of water is why you gwt line twist

I used to have 2x ngt stalking 8ft rods 6 or 7 years ago us3d to strap to my motorcycle and traveled all over uk and even went to France with them I since purchased the ngt profilers 6ft what a disappointment both had chipped tip eyes cutting line every cast and the replacment I recived snapped just above the joint on a bream often known for there aggressive fights 🤣 Thinking about getting another set of the 8ft ones

Good memories mate. For money they are great. I’ve never tried the profilers I originally bought these as a cheap set up that I didn’t mind crashing about and they’ve stood the test of time. Mine are now collecting dust as find the 9ft xtractors spot on instead

Hi what's the head height please? I know the dimensions say 130cm but wasn't sure if this was the door height or the maximum head height.i have a tempest brolly at the moment which is to low and looking to upgrade.TIA

There is a skull cap and an inner capsule available, I have the inner capsule (check my other video to see this) but no winter wrap like the skull wrap which is available on the smaller tempests.

I have one and it's superb. NGT gear is so much underrated.... they have come on leaps and bounds over the last couple of years. Quality products at a fraction of the so called 'top flight' brands. PS I'm well chuffed with your 'Edge' micros and pellets I pick up from you last week. I'm from Swindon, where is the lake you reviewed the rod

Your line cant twist the other way it only comes of the reel the same way

Make the hole for injection right by your hook bait. There will be no lifting of the bag and perfect presentation

Yeh. Good little budget rods for a bit of fun. Although I prefer the sonik xtractors so these rarely see daylight anymore.

Indeed,I think I paid around £50 per rod for the 9 ft xtractors, so no comparison to these. I like to have different rods for different fishing situations and I find the soniks for me personally a great all rod rod.these are great for small waters and my absolute favourite surface fishing.

Used one of these for years , they work superbly and save a lot of grief. I sometimes do it mid session too if I’ve been wrapping up on distance sticks. It takes minutes. Good vid btw

Yeh still use now and then. Due to its size I only use it for long sessions or if the pegs are large. The pole elastic has needed replacing a few times, and condensation is pretty bad. If I was looking to buy a large bivvy I’d probably consider other options

I recently tried a nash titan not sure if it was a T2 or T3 but it was very well built and a perfect size.For me personally I go out alot on my own and it’s only occasionally my partner comes with me so I’d be happy with an extension on the frontier or smaller tempest.but this is not a cheap option unfortunately.
