Quite an assortment of valuable vintage amps you have there. Built before the company existed LOL Thanks for the vid, didn't know about STLTones.

2:12 - The instruction manual says: "[Out Speaker]T he device can be used as a load resistor when operated with tube amps without speaker box. If you do not connect a loudspeaker and use one of the other two outputs set the knob to ‘2’ - ‘3’.’" - this is interesting, because you would need to turn it up even more or turn up the amp to provide just as much for line level power. So in recording scenario when you have you amp on the table next to computer it is definitely that you won't have the speaker connected, otherwise it is not silent recording and you can't judge the IR tone from the monitors unless you have an isolated quiet room for the cab. but if you have, you won't be buying cheap PA-100. :) And if there are quality deterioration of any kind, using amp's line out would be better and in that scenario the PA-100 attenuation should be turned to 0. *I just got the unit and still researching.

Hi Dennis Is it normal that the amp head (lbx 5150) make noises like the guitar track is playing from inside of it during the reamp? (with no speaker conected) thanks!

Yes, this is normal. The tubes are “resonating“. You don’t hear this with the speaker connected simply because it’s too loud.

Hi Dennis! what impedance in the 5150 lbx and in the attenuator did you set? Thanks!

Probably 8 ohms. I can’t remember. Anyway as long as your output impedance matches the impedance input then all is good.
