It’s very convenient. I had just dropped off the rental car. Took tram back to terminal then shuttle bus to Marriott.

My home airport is SFO. Yes, we're spoiled by the heavies. I love SFO! I usually fly out of Terminal A to Asia. Always a red eye. Also Papeete is on the island of Tahiti, which is French Polynesia.

Those parallel runway landings are great for the casual observer but for the pilots its maybe like driving next to a ?'able distracted driver on US 19 in Pinellas county, so its no wonder that 1 plane tries to get ahead of the other as they are nearing the runway. By the way I really really like the Striped Paint jobs on the Condor jets ; its a shame they don't come in Salmon Pink & Chartreuse hues.
