However, there is another important player that has it's own niche - Dubai tram! Every day, Alstom Citadis 402 trams carry thousands of passengers along the only line in the city, that does not have catenary (wires!).

When it comes to RTA (Roads & Transport Authority), I’ve been on their Taxis, Buses, Abra Boats, and their Metro Station but surprisingly not their trams.

There are different classes in the trams?

Yeah, there is Silver class (standard) and Gold class. The ticket for the gold class is twice the price of the silver class, but I haven’t seen very much difference in the interior (in metro trains there are a bit different seats). The only benefit is that it’s probably never crowded (which is not the case for the regular Silver class).
