Hi welcome to today's vlog on my Trang To Krabi Travel Day Food, Costs And Accommodation 🇹🇭. I head off from Trang to Krabi away from the rural areas and heading into a tourist hotspot. Krabi is well known as its the gateway to the islands in South Thailand.
I take a bus from Trang Bus terminal for 112 baht for the two and a half hour journey then once arriving in Krabi i show you my extremely cheap accommodation.

That’s the huge benifits of this channel as the first question people want to know is how much things cost . It’s inspiring to see someone travel on a budget . Who wants to watch people throwing there money about flexing . That type of travel is not available for the majority. This is the stuff to inspire people to get out and make it happen !!!

Have to agree so many youtubers have a massive budget I'm not interested over 30 years ago I only could afford to stay in 100 baht bungalows and in Bangkok the same but I have stayed in three star hotels or 4 stars with my wife and son on recent trips I like how Richey is doing it that's the real travel adventure how do you get on for washing your clothes Ritch

Good morning, Richy! It's nice to see the sun shining in Trang today. I'm looking forward to your Krabi trip, as i don't know much about it at all. I don't reckon you should be without the electrolyte drink in that heat and walking everywhere. Good idea. Just shows the importance of waiting for the best deal - saving 40 Baht on the chocolate drink by going away from the bus terminal. You do that every day, and all that adds up quickly. I like that you call out the prices of everything. A good find in that hostel in the centre of town. Good views, too!

Good to see you properly got your mojo back richie. The charcoal tabs will soak up any poisons so just take them as soon as any food poisoning starts. That hostel is an old Thai school by the looks of it. You cant grumble for that price. Im starting putting up videos on my channel now if your ever bored. Looks like youtube is stopping you get any more subs, youve been on the same since before xmas. All the best

You have certainly landed on your feet once again there , Richy. That looks like a fine place . How many in the dorm ? Is Myanmar a possibility ? It was possible to cross the border from southern Thailand a few years back but things might not be so stable at the moment . Good health .

Why must you drink ORS? There are 2 types of ORS (Oral hydration Salt): If you have diarrhea or fluid loss, you must use ORS. If you lose sweat, you must use ORT (Oral rehydration therapy).

I had a couple of nights in krabi stayed at Nap krabi hotel, 1250bht and was just out on outskirts of town, nice breakfast and restaurant but the place wasn't anything special and that was in 2019,.!, hostel looks good but not my cup of tea "room sharing",. show us your back pack inventory richy, you seem to travel very light, If you fancy a workout go to the monkey temple, you can see it in the distance perched on top of the big mountain ,. The mistake i made when visiting krabi was not realizing that Ao nang was the main place to visit and not krabi town, .cheers,.

Thanks Mike, I might check out Ao Nang. I’ll be honest I like my own space and last year a hostel would never of crossed my mind. Since trying them out though I’m really surprised at how good some of them are. On my next travel day I’ll do a run down of everything I carry in my bag.

Hi Richy. Not an area of Thailand I have visited so interesting to see Trang and Krabi. The Dugongs(Sea Cows) of Trang would have been an interesting topic given their scarcity. Talking of interesting topics have you considered doing some input on visa requirements for travel to Thailand. I'm sure your other viewers, those who don't live here, but might want to travel to Thailand on a budget, would be interesting to get some information on Visa requirements. I figure you are travelling visa exempt? Do you extend those entries for 30 days at Immigration? Making it 60 days per entry? Also interested to know if there is still a limit on the amount of visa exempt entries that you can make into Thailand in one year. Perhaps you can cover this subject when you are walking around out on one of your market forays. Regards Mike.
