Mom's Day Outdoor cooking, pancakes and rhubarb cream on the Trangia 25. This is without doubt a favorite as kid. My Grandmom did tgis every time i visited at summer. Still tastes great as breakfast, lunch or as dessert. Try it! To make it easier on the trail, instead of using fresh ingrediences lie i did, You will be fine with those dry mixes that You only need water to stir in. Pancakes: 5-6 dl Milk 3 dl flour 3 eggs 1 pinch salt a couple of tablespoons of butter Rhubarg Cream: 500 Gr Rhubarbs 0,5 litres whater 1-1,5 dl Sugar 3 table spoons potato flour

Stainless pans, or non coated pans in general work well if you get the temperature right. Probably not easy to do outdoors, but glad to see you've nailed it here. My grandma was near and dear to my heart, so I appreciate seeing others honor theirs as well. Love your outdoor cooking videos. Thank you for sharing!

Thanks for Your feedback! Both the Duossal and the Hard Anodized frypan makes pancakes like a charm. I have found the alcoburner to be great and most predictable. We shall always have our grandma's in mind and learn from them in life, ask them about their history, fun moments, hard moments how life was when young, about places important for them or our ancestry to be remember thru us. Easy to forget. 🙏🙌

Thanks! It tastes awsome. Key is to melt a couple of table spoons of butter and pour in to the pancake mix and some for the fry pan surface. But that is key in the home kitchen as well. Have a nice Norway trip, Norway is awsome!

That looked delicious. Your pancakes were more like crepes, perfect for your rhubarb cream. Nicely done mate. I’m just starting to cook on my Trangia 25 kit. Learning as I go. I lived in Alaska years ago and folks there make rhubarb pie with rhubarb picked from their home gardens.

Hi Sean, thanks for your comment. That would be awsome, to include the history to a adventureride. I know this could be a taste of it. I did a video of the area and I think that the old mill and forge that was the start of the factory is in the video. I did a short tour with my RV then, but this could be a appetizer 👍😁 kzbin.info/www/bejne/pHrcdYWMeLegiqs
