You get more color options and easy mistake correction by writing notes on the iPad. You can move everything to fit perfectly as you want it to on a page. Some people, like myself, study better when studying off of paper / physical notes, but really like how the iPad allows for customization beyond what a pen can do.

Line Nielsen it takes a little getting used to but I love not having to carry around multiple notebooks and a binder. The paper screen protector makes a big difference.

Writing on an iPad helps saving trees. Yet you write on the iPad and then PRINT them. I'm curious...why?

She’s probably able to study better that way. Writing her notes on her iPad is a lot easier (you can copy and paste graphs, tables, etc.) and neater than actually writing them in a notebook. I understand what you’re saying though, but what works for someone may not work for everyone else. Try not to judge.

Moesha Johnson the point I think she’s trying to make is, u can’t say you’re gonna do digital note taking and saving trees if ur printing out the same amount of paper it would have taken to write it down in the first place

I think in a way it still does save trees because think about it, when u you write your notes on actual paper you can’t exactly edit them and move them around anymore to save space. And also at least you don’t need to waste resources on buying ballpens refills and correction tapes so that still saves the environment from excess plastic/materials in general.

Angela Yam you’re right about saving resources because the iPad gives her the things that she needs! But it might be different for college students because some people don’t care how they take their notes😂😂 I’ve seen notes that are really messy and all over the place and the person that took it is fine with it! But then again, college is different and maybe college students actually care more about their notes than high school students do

Hi 😊 I export my notes from goodnotes5 as a pdf file to an app called HPsmart to print. The app is free and it works with my HP printer. I’m able to connect my printer and my ipad to the same wifi for me to airprint all my notes! Make sure you change the format to Letter 8.5 x11 in before printing so that your printer doesn’t leave weird empty spaces in your printed notes. I hope that helped! Let me know if you have any other questions.
