Yeah. When I was younger I told my mom I was pansexual and she said "You can love and/or be whoever you want, ill love you no matter what" but when my "sister" decided to tell my mom I was trans (EVEN THOUGH I WASN'T READY TO COME OUT TO HER) my mom said "You are a girl, not a boy. Don't fall into that nonsense" Luckily I have a brothers who is also ftm and he comforted me but its sad that my brothers is the one that's accepting me and making me feel valid, that's my mom job. Anyways sorry your mom is deadnaming you, I hope things get better for you soon!

The one about the TSA is legit. I flew from Dallas, Texas to Phoenix, Arizona and back a couple weeks ago to see my university. I’m transmasc non-binary but was presenting as femme (shaved my beard off, put on makeup, wore a unisex outfit, [a hoodie and jeans] etc, however I am on testosterone so my voice is deep which can “out” me as trans) that day so I didn’t have to explain why I was AFAB with a beard (my school is a Christian institution which is funny because I’m an Atheist/Secular Humanist). At both airports they all but fisted me. They felt way up in my grundle. I’m a multiple sexual assault survivor with CPTSD and I was so triggered both times that I was shaking. The only positives were that both times I was patted down by female agents and the agent who patted me down in Phoenix talked me through every place she was going to pat down before she did it and offered to do the pat down in a private room away from the crowd. I still felt utterly violated. However, even though TSA agents are over-glorified security guards (and not police officers of any kind) you cannot refuse to let them search you if you want to fly. To make matters worse the agent at DFW treated me like a terrorist and was very curt and disrespectful. I LOVE flying, but now I have to think about if flying is worth my being molested and traumatized by cunty TSA agents. Being handled the way the TSA agents handled me should be illegal especially as the DFW agent not only did not offer to pat me down in front of everyone but as my jeans were tight enough in my crotch area both agents could SEE without touching me that I wasn’t smuggling anything. Next time I fly I will demand the pat downs be done in private.

Because of how I’m built physically the jeans I was wearing were tight in the crotch and I don’t pack so it was clear to see by just looking that there was nothing there. I don’t understand why the machine showed stuff mostly in “private areas” like my breasts and crotch. I’ve heard that it’s because there’s buttons of some sort that an agent presses to gender you as male or female and if your genitals don’t line up then they do all but a cavity search on you. If this is true that means though I’m AFAB, was wearing makeup, perfume, and “feminine” clothes, they put me in as male. If this is true then it was my lack of a penis that got me singled out. Not because I had something in my possession but because there was something I DIDN’T have in my possession which is a clear violation of my civil rights. Anywho what happened happened and I can’t change it. All I can do is try harder next time to advocate for myself and do whatever I can (without getting arrested) to prevent the agent from being able to basically molest me with no probable cause. Just because God forgot to install my penis that doesn’t qualify as probable cause.

My old friend gave me a clip up binder because they weren't educated in binders even though they were trans (they told us it was safe to exercise in them, luckily I already knew it wasnt) but I dont think my mum will buy me a new binder until I physically grow out of this one, I haven't had any problems with it so far and I cant stop wearing it or I'll have really bad dysphoria. My friend also has a clip up one that the old friend gave him, but his parents aren't as supportive as my mum and I dont think hed be able to get a new one.

I figured out I was trans when I was trans about a year ago, my entire life I have been like "woah, I wonder what it'd be like to be a boy" lmao- But when I actually figured it out was when I had omlet arcade, people always thought I was a guy, and I was just like "oh lol that's funny- I kinda like being called a dude. @@TikTokBunny A lot of people like them. I'm not sold on them I had to import mine and after a year a lot of seams are ripped and its very loose. I do still wear it at home sometimes because its very comfy. I use Underworks, they bind amazingly, they have a better sizing system for cis and trans dudes that are on T longer and last forever, pretty tight and not the most comfortable though. Tape is also good if you do it right and take breaks for your skin.

I hear more bad reviews about gc2b than good. I have one, and it's okay but it's the only binder I've ever tried so idk how good it is at its job. Transtape I have heard is completely fine if you use some oil to remove it.

Gc2b used to be so good but the quality has drastically decreased in the last few months. Idk what happened but if you buy one now the stitches tend to pop almost immediately

Me, in a country where the only binders available clip and the GC2B ones take around 2 months to get here + WAY too expensive: This sign won't stop me because I can't read! Last one kinda misinformation I've been using trans tape for a bit over a year now and if you do it right it's only gonna be itchy, it's annoying but dealable Now yes I have had some skin problems but I know why and its because #1 I leave it on to long and do not give the oil enough time if I use oil I am very impatient I have intense adhd And the other skin thing is I am big and at the bottom of my chest it forms a pocket and that pocket gets sweaty but if you are smaller or smarter you can easily fix it Some people are sensitive to it and that's unchangeable to my knowledge idk I haven't done research because it's not my issue and I already have a bunch of stuff to do its stressful but I haven't heard of any fixes Idk what they meant by uneven It's so much more comfortable than a binder, and I think if someone has less sensitively to touches and stuff you could forget it's even on but I am always aware of things on me even if they are not in my active brain I pretty much always feel them so if you tune out your clothes you could probably tune out trans tape Its expensive unfortunately but I have heard of people finding cheaper options, I'm currently trying to find cheaper options I've never had breathing issues or chest pains while using trans tape Also I haven't personally ordered from them I've only had a hand me down from like 5+ years ago gc2b binder but I've seen so many people saying they just aren't good anymore and the sizes are bugged and the quality of everything is wonky But the forthem binders have been getting good reviews, again I dont have one I've only ordered a underworks binder and although I can technically wear it it is uncomfortable and when I first put it on I felt like I was being born not a fun feeling But after I stretched it is worked good but definitely tight I might order again and just get a size or two up But I want to order from forthem because I've just heard great things about all of it Although I have heard they dont bind as well as things like underworks honestly most of the time it's fine for me Cloth binders are kinda just for emergencies or while I give my chest a break from tape but I dont want to be not flat for an activity or something I'd never exercise in a binder but I prefer exorcising in trans tape than nothing I fucking hate skating with cloth binders I'm not even doing tricks I cant even do the main action yet but with the tape it's fine I feel great Anyways that's my opinion everyone can make there own choices I'm just really happy I found trans tape for me because binding just sucks the normal way, and honestly I am still definitely going to get top surgery as soon as possible but at least I can not have my ribs broken while I wait

for real. I have an underworks binder- Their binders are definitely designed to be washed before you put them on for the first time as they are heavily stiffened. But Theyre GOOD binders. Im always so sad seeing people say to completely avoid them just because they personally got an issue from it. I love this thing far more than I did my gc2b and I had a GOOD gc2b. Its not that hard to just. Listen to your own damn body instead of blaming a whole brand for your issue. (an easily treatable one from my mild research at that)

Im 39, just so ppl know dat I'm not a kid. I would love 2 b able 2 wear a binder, but I have a pain spot under my chest. I can't even wear sports bras. So tapes my only option. I'm on T, n my big fin chest is da only reason I don't pass, even though der not even perky anymore. I have a hand disability i use phonetic shorthand 2 shorten da amount da amount of typin, thus limitin da amount of pain dis is a copied message
