I have no problem with real trans people that aline with the gender that’s in their head. It’s the people that do both genders at one time and say they are nonbinary, that not real it’s ok to be a man who likes feminine things that doesn’t mean your a both or a they.

Non-binary people aren't always "both genders" a lot of the time they may be agender or otherwise. you do have people who are genderfluid or possibly consider themselves of multiple genders, but at the end of the day, it doesn't truly affect anyone. Why not just try to understand where someone's coming from instead of just arguing that it's not real?

It's not an ideology anymore than being gay as an ideology or being straight as an ideology. It just is who you are. Sexuality like everything is on a belt curve and most everybody is straight and then I don't know about 10% of the beings on this planet, different species are Gay or have gay tendencies and another. I don't know two or 3% or one percent or caught in the wrong body I'm a straight white guy in 59 but I just do not understand what is going on with everybody at each other's throats over something that affects so few people Let them live their lives. If a kid knows that his parents are gonna throw him out of the house if they find out that he's trans why in the world would he want them to know what he's feeling or who he actually is if he knows the seating hatred they have for himor her the lack of empathy is astounding

The reason you think the belief in gender identities is the same as a sexual attraction is because the trans movement parasitized itself on to the LGB movement. In reality the two have nothing in common. Someone believing they have a gender identity is like someone else believing they have a soul. It's a matter of faith. There's no outside observable criteria that can prove either exist. The entire movement relies on someone's belief about themself. That's fine. People can believe what they want but they can't force other people to go along with their belief. Just like a lot of us don't want Christianity shoved down our throats, we don't want this either. It's not possible to change sex. Men who identify as women are still men. You notice they start with "gender is a social construct" but then want to conflate gender and sex when they want to take over women's sex based spaces. Destroying sex based spaces is not a human right. It's a desire to their feelings and fantasies can be validated. Another way you can tell it's functions like a cult or religion is with the desire to control language. You'll be told "it's trans woman not transwoman" because they want to make it seem like men who identify this way are a "type" of woman not something distinct on their own. The insistence on preferred pronoun use is another example. There are many more phrases you'll hear the gender movement use that act like religious mantras. If they get kindhearted people to adopt their language without thinking about it it's easier to push forward with their agenda. Look at how detransitioners are treated by trans activists. Just like apostates. Listen to what detransitioners say. Lastly, circling back to your thoughts that this is like being gay. The fact is that most children with gender dysphoria outgrow their feelings of dysphoria when allowed to progress through puberty and end up being gay. Transitioning them IS the conversion therapy. Listen to the modern LGB movement. Your heart is in the right place but you are not well informed. How many kids will be harmed because people don't know what they're actually supporting?
