I’m trans and I always felt like I couldn’t speak on my issues with Neopronouns and xenogenders without getting attacked by my own community. Chud makes a very valid point about how pronouns are meant to quickly refer to someone. I struggle enough speaking in public so the idea of using a Neopronoun to refer to someone (and them potentially getting mad at me) is horrifying lol. Because you get pushed down two paths as a kid. Girly stuff, or boy stuff. Barbies and bratz and dress up, or cars and dirt bikes and superman Even just that, is enough for a child to know they are being misplaced. Also no, waiting until puberty has started, is extremely dangerous and detrimental to a transition, even at 15 things have already permanently been changed. That is what causes and leads to suicides, and depression and self harm. Aslong as they pass the psychological panel, any child should be allowed to (with parental supervision) start HRT. Dysphoria occurs because the brain doesn't align with the body. A female brain, will need female hormones. A male body cannot do this, leading to severe distress from the female brain. HRT blocks cis hormones, and adds the needed ones. That is how you treat and alleviate Dysphoria. To deny children this, and to force them through the wrong puberty, permanently damaging their body and their future... Is genuinely evil.

Also, there isn't a detransition trend. Most statistics are false, and come from bias right wing sources that aren't peer reviewed. Suicides after transition in the UK alone, are 0.4% Now, you do need GD (Dysphoria) to be given HRT as a trans male or female. But you don't need dysphoria to be transfem or transmasc. non-binary people often don't experience Dysphoria, instead just feel uncomfortable with the gender identity pushed on them. But dysphoria itself is not always a conscious feeling, it can also occur in many ways. It's not dissimilar to body Dysmorphia, or Anorexia. A trans woman with Dysphoria, may irrationally see her face as masculine, where everyone else only sees it as feminine. It's a genuine condition which often leads to depression. If a young girl, knows socially she doesn't fit into the girls square hole, but she feels she does fit into the boys triangle hole, she's just into traditionally male things. But if she also has a feeling of disgust, or repulsion to her body, it is GD and qualifies for HRT. For example, it could be an unexplainable repulsion to having long hair, or playing with other girls. It could be extremely uncomfortable to hear She/Her, and it could be hard for her to wear the girls school uniform for no explainable reason. There are specific questions asked during the psychological panel, that looks for things called 'signs'. Signs can be what I've just mentioned, or they can be as severe and obvious as a young boy asking him mum why he doesn't have what she has. There was a case in which a 6yo boy asked his mother when she would take him to the doctor's to remove his private area, so it would be what she had. And got extremely distressed when she told him that he couldn't do that because he was a boy. ALL of that is Gender Dysphoria, so YES children pre-puberty can have dysphoria, and there are ways to tell. And NO, you do not need dysphoria to be trans. You don't even need HRT to be trans, but for the people that need it... Denying it is dangerous and detrimental to their mental and physical health.

I think this is pretty ignorant considering it takes time as someone who has actually transitioned. I spent 5 years waiting on a waitlist to just be seen, then multiple years of psychological assessments, then hormonal access and surgery. It is not something you just do in the span of a month unless you have a lot of money. Hormones also gradually take time to fully take effect and aren't instantanous. 😅

I saw some comments talking about how children being put on HRT was not around several years ago, however, if you are aware of how we got here, it’s very alarming how an entire group of children were wholly ignored. Many of you have probably heard these terms mentioned before or may have come across it on the internet but I’m going to tell you how things spiraled. The terms I am referring to are tomboys and tomgirls. It was just a few decades ago where children were, in fact, allowed to explore their individuality. Tomboys were girls who wore more stereotypical clothes, played rough, enjoyed sports, and basically did many things that were associated with boys. Tomgirls, on the other hand, were boys who tended to do more girl oriented things such as wearing more feminine clothing, were allowed to wear makeup but not outside of their homes, played with dolls, played house, and did many activities associated with girls. And this was fine. Sometimes you would hear parents try to get their daughters to be more feminine and sons be more masculine, but for the most part they were allowed to explore themselves. This time period of exploration would result in a number of outcomes once they became adults: there were children who continued to push gender norms, children who identified as the opposite gender and thus began the process of transitioning, and other children who grew out of it as it was a phase for them. But there were other outcomes: children who simply didn’t fit in to any set category but drew from all of them. This has been the accepted circumstance of gender identity for decades. Yes, I said *decades* for there has been men and women who have pushed societal norms as far back as the 40s. Really even earlier than that. Remember there was a term for women who did not get married: spinster. However, this all changed because of one little girl and the subsequent movement to allow children to be put on HRT before puberty: Jazz. In case many of you do not know this name, Jazz was the first transgendered little girl. Born a boy, apparently, Jazz has always associated with being a girl from a very young age. There is, however, something that set Jazz aside from this new wave of transgendered children. Her parents spoke to her and allowed her some freedoms of expression but would *not* allow her to be put on HRT nor have gender reassignment surgery. Her parents were supportive of her but did not allow the next step because they felt that it was best to wait until Jazz was older before allowing her to have the surgery. Another thing… they did not want her to be on puberty blockers in case she decided she wished to return to being a boy. Jazz was first featured in a documentary about children who did not identify their birth gender. I had seen the documentary and I will say that parents should allow their children to explore who they are but *not* allow them to get gender reassignment surgery because of one segment. There was another child that was featured who had told their mother that they “felt like a girl”. This mother plunged herself into accepting her daughter. She threw out all her boy clothes and bought her an all new wardrobe. The little girl was allowed to grow her hair out which the mother would style for her. Now where is the problem? Well… later in the documentary, the mother and daughter were at the kitchen table and the mother was styling her hair. While she was doing this, she asked her daughter how did she feel that day. This was something the mother asked often to gage whether or not her daughter still identified as a girl. The girl responded something along the lines “I feel like a boy today.” The mother froze and said “What? A boy?” The child quickly corrected herself but then also began to waffle between the two much to the mother’s surprise. She was then on camera talking to the documentarian in tears about how could she had been so careless? What did her daughter’s response truly mean about her identity? She expressed how she should have asked more questions and allowed her son to do certain things that he liked such as wearing a dress instead of throwing all his boy possessions because she wanted to be a supportive parent. That’s this situation started, parents who wished to be supportive and accepting of their child’s identity, and it devolved into children being allowed to go on HRT. But it’s not just this aspect of the LGBTQ community. These same supportive parents started to take their children to the Pride Parade and allow them to be in drag shows. Parents should absolutely be supportive and accepting of their children, however, they shouldn’t have accepted anything about being a transgender person. Just like that little girl who dropped that bombshell on her mother about liking and being a boy, children change their minds at the drop of a hat. Activists need to remember that the same children they are advocating for are the same children who want to be a football player, king, queen, princess, prince, mermaid, and any other strange combination when they grow up. The same children who ask for pizza for dinner to turn around and say fried chicken (usually after the pizza is on the table). The same children who aren’t allowed to be in relationships with adults, drink alcohol, smoke tobacco products, go into an R-Rated movie, etc because all of these are things that adults are allowed to do. In some cases, children at the age of 15 can get a job, their driver’s permit then license because they can handle those things. But guess what? Adults have to be there to supervise. What’s my point? In this era of acceptance, people are too quick to listen to children despite them being too mentally immature to make decisions. Note: I don’t know what became of the little girl who said they felt like a boy. But Jazz was given her own reality show about her journey to become a full woman. Which unlike a documentary has a wider audience. Edit: After listening to Ethel’s video, she hasn’t just gone off the deep end, she is spreading misinformation. During that entire rant, I walked away with some things to say: 1. Ethel is stupid and unhinged which makes her dangerous. Spreading misinformation in the way that she has is deeply troubling. Not only did she name two people who she believes is apart of this conspiracy, but she also put the deaths of sixteen children… without evidence. She claimed that she was alerted to the situation by a whistleblower. She hasn’t explained how she was able to vet what they said is true, whether or not those deaths were at all attributed to whatever ban she is talking about, and who those children even were! This next question is important: How does she know that this person isn’t a troll or even someone who is deranged? I’m going to hazard a guess with how she’s handled other things she took to Twitter to air out her grievances with this ban, someone saw this tweet of hers, and contacted her claiming to be a person on the inside. She completely bought into whatever they said at surface level. Although she tried to do her due diligence in locating a vigil for the victims, she did not stop to think that perhaps this isn’t true. The fact that she scoured the internet on information about any vigil, I didn’t hear her once mention if she was able to find out anything about the situation. I can see why she doesn’t pull that many views for a channel her size. Her video on Vangelina Slov brought new viewers to her channel and thus exposing her lunacy. Remember a few KZbinrs spoke out about her plagiarism videos explaining just how full of crap she is, not too mention Lily Orchard’s sister, Courtney dropping her own video on Ethel, pointing out not only is she lying but she was actively trying to claim that the screenshots were her own instead of information given to her *and* KiwiFarms by the victims.

I think the primary issue of Essence Of Thought is that they think that it's good that 100% of the children that are put on hormone blockers after puberty blockers go on to take surgery. (source : "human rights group seeks to overturn ban") These children are continuously reaffirmed that going through with all this is going to make them feel like they belong more by ostracizing them more from society. Of course the puberty blockers don't help gain a sense of self where it's the cornerstone of puberty. Of course the HRT isn't going to make the world accept them as the thing they want to be. And of course getting yourself mutilated in ways 99% of people you interact with won't see isn't going to improve your clearly minimal self worth. Adults that are getting these surgery are generally happy, as they already understand all this. Children going through the natural process of self discovery end up unhappy, because the root cause of their issues cannot be fixed by these self-harming medications. There will be exceptions. EOT denies the existence of Trans-regret, citing this 100% satisfaction rate. They're off their rocker. And kind of look .. less healthy than I remember them from several years ago.
