@@thealmightyjackthe need for the state to regulate capital arises out of capitalism itself. The state is required to guarantee property “rights” and issue money. The “government corporatist ” nature of capitalism goes back to the very beginning, with joint stock companies receiving charters from the crown and often being given monopolies over trade in a certain region. In America, one only had to look at the first bank of the United States to find an early example of a public private partnership. When capitalism enters one of its many general crisis, the capitalist go screaming and crying to the government for assistance. The state obliges. The state serves to protect capital and capitalism at all costs, even if it means limiting or placing constraints on it a making certain concessions to the labor movement and working class in order to mitigate class conflict. Also, any system in which their is general commodity production, wage labor, money, and the capitalist law of value is a capitalist system, no matter if most industries are privately owned or state owned. For example the USSR was mostly pre-capitalist under lennin and state capitalist under Stalin , despite what illiterate Marxist Leninist who have never read Marx or Engels will tell you.

Personally I see pirating as good for the industry. I have bought and paid for 100% of games that I've pirated that I like. GTA, cyberpunk 2077, a bunch of others including indie devs. In a large portion of those cases I would not have purchased the game without actually playing it and seeing what it's like. I spent over 15 years in the restaurant industry, worked from a Dishwasher to the AM of the store I worked at. I worked anywhere from 60-80 hours a week to barely afford rent for my house, as well as living frivolously in my late 20s. I finally have a good job, work my 40 hours and that is more than enough for me. I have streamed almost everyday for the last 2 years, I make crude clips on my YT channel, and never expect people to give me money for the content I produce. I actively do the "minimum" for a channel, but I also work 40 hour a week. If I got paid to play games all day everyday, at a certain point I know it would destroy my mental. Part of that is because it took a ton of work to get to a stable spot in my life. I don't have the built in drive to be a top level content creator, and I accept that as an okay thing. I personally do all of this for myself. I think the clips I can make are funny or cool. Thats enough for me. People who go into this world expecting to make it, will probably never make it. This guy is one of those "I guess I have to take what the world gives me, can you please give me money?" and will never become more than that. Good riddance.

Look at like rotten mangos, she does it well for how generally slop her content is. She knows to use pitch and tone to draw attention to key moments.
