I have the other two Megs, but holy Lord I need that TM2 Megs. The Mainline one is exceptional for the budget, but it just doesn't hold up against MP versions! Stunning!

This is maybe my favourite ever figure of the hundreds I have. Mine doesn't have the light up eyes as it's the reissue, but I can live with that. Just be careful with the flap behind his head. I was too heavy handed and snapped it off. It doesn't really make any difference though. It's just stunning and then some. I am on 4 Transart figures now and can't wait to get the rest of them, along with the Takara stuff.min for the long haul.

the original toys were screen accurate post season one with really the only liberties taken with any of them was transmetal 2 megatrons chest and transmetal rattraps backpack being upside down for aesthetics, even their scaling was accurate! and those toys still hold up today!

The doube tail is such a shame. I get the reason for it but still, it seems like the only thing about the figure that makes it less than perfect :)

This company has a history of parts-forming in their BW designs. It's one of the reasons I've not bothered to buy them.

Transmutate doesn’t, TM OP doesn’t, TM Cheetor doesn’t, Ravage doesn’t, Optimal doesn’t…. and a tail that is supposed to come off by the old toy design and the show…. does that really count as bad parts forming? and if it’s supposed to come off anyway, why not have two sizes for correct scaling?

@@madskater5 I dont mind that it comes off. Its a weapon. Weapons are allowed to come off without it being 'partsforming'. The thing I don't like is that is a completely different part in both modes. Its not that the weapon comes off and is then placed in hand, its that it comes off, is put to the side and another weapon is placed in hand. And like I said, I get why. understand the scalling thing. Doesn't mean I have to like it though. Its not a clean transformation that way. Fantastic if you just want a tm2 megatron totem to put on a shelf, less fantastic if you care about the actual transformation. Despite the fact that the overwhelming majority of the time, my toys sit on a shelf, I still like my transformers to have clean transformations. To each their own.

@@sloth210983 I suppose in your case, it’s a bit of what do you do with the extra tail when the figure is on the shelf? Leave the extra tail sitting next to the figure? Put it away and have to dig it out when it’s time to transform? I can see how that wouldn’t be so desirable.

I kinda wish the tail claw could be positioned properly for shooting. In the show the two halves of the claw stayed paralel so as to be like a railgun. Maybe an alternate tail with the tip that does this along with pink/light purple paint between each segment to show his tail is glowing like it was in the show when he used it.

The picture on the back of the box is just from coming of the fuzors episode. I don't think they'll be making them as two of them are inferno and Waspinator. It's possible they're gonna do Quickstrike and Tarantulas but only ones I've seen so far as coming are Transmetal 2 Blackarachnia and Depth Charge. I hope they do Silverbolt and Tigahawk as well. I want all transmetals. If they could re-imagine what none show figures would look like in cgi and make figures of those, that would be cool.

If I do get the chance to collect again I'd love to have transmetals of beast wars because those were my favorites and I've always been a stickler for triple changers even though they're not exactly triple changers like Springer is Also still loving the work as always

We really need bigger versions of Optimal Optimus and Transmetal 2 Megatron. In the show, Optimal's cockpit that held Prime's spark was at eye level with Transmetal Megatron.

That Trans Art Optimal Optimus should be WAY bigger to be size accurate. TM Megatron was eye-level with OpOP's cockpit in the show.

Hope they use better plastic then Beast Wars Transmetal Megatron that was released when the series was airing my megatron got 2 broken arms LOL I just leave him in his beast mode all the time LOL you are able to stuff the arms up in a way that they don't fall out unless your playing around with it to much.

They couldn't get them to work properly on the second batch and people were already reporting that their first batch samples were having problems with the lights dying so they scrapped out that feature altogether. Probably for the best as he looked deactivated when the lights were off. And to be fair, most retailers seem to be selling him now for less than the 1st batch did so that's good.
