TransArt BWM-06 Tyrannosaurus MP TransMetal MEGATRON Transformers Review

This is my favorite form of BW Megatron. His whiplash cutlass is one of the coolest weapons and is reminiscent of his namesake's iconic fusion cannon. His chest plate is very intimidating and really sells that the transmetal isn't just an upgrade, it's a mutation. And because it's so robotic and militaristic, I think this form best suits Megatron's personality.

Megatron's feet did indeed fold up when in vehicle mode in the show - and his tail claw opened as well.

Transformation is pretty much slightly improved original toy transformation. As for having the gap under the turbine when you spread the legs in Beast Mode, this is how it also looked in the show when he spread out his legs. As for roller skates, in the show his feet either folded up or not depending on episode, animators weren't consistant.

Love this figure so much. Can't wait to buy him. The only thing I'd suggest to the painters of these figures is some dry brush silver on his crown cos it wasn't fully black in the show. It was more of a dark lead metal with black and you always saw the detail when light was on his face.

These MP scale third party pieces are great for display, but for playability, there’s always something. Breaking tabs, paint chipping…not that the official masterpiece line is any better. Still an awesome looking figure

Hasbro overlords may not have given him the greenlight to do so yet. Or maybe he has the figure through means that he's better off waiting until the figure is set for release before widely making it known he has it. Just guesses on my part. Who knows.

This guy looks amazing and I do want to get him but I've heard from multiple people that the spring loaded wheels for his skates can crack off. That's too important of a part to justify nearly $200. Gonna hold off and see if they do a 2.0 for this guy.

I have this guy, he is not as good as you make him out to be. The plastic is not good but not bad, I had to tighten all of his screws even the ball joints in the tails and I had to get purple paint to cover the chipping in his feet. He is just an up-scaled version of the original toy with some tweaks and a bit too light for me. 3/5

Im disappointed the tail cant attach to the holster on the side, but then again they may not have realized its supposed to considering he only does it once in the show and even that one time its a 2 second scene of him flying away so it could be easily missed.

I broke the head flap on my first transform 😥. Serves me right for being too lazy to read the red bold writing on the packaging that gives caution to this. I wonder if epoxy can remedy this problem. Any advice anyone?

be really careful with the shocks at 5:21. the stem the spring is on is plastic and breaks incredibly easy. it was broken on both feet on my copy while still in the box. the constant pressure of the spring pushing them outward can't be good for it

this is most likely the best masterpiece Beast wars Megatron, despite not being a masterpiece figure, while it might not be the Megatron from season one, but it is only 100 to like 60 dollars and the masterpiece is almost 400 dollars!!!

Outstanding review of an outstanding product! Thank you! Shame these amazing-but-expensive things only seem to come along when I've got no spare cash, otherwise I'd pounce on this. I definitely love to get a smaller version, more in scale with the non-MP figures, though . . . preferably without the "GPS" problem of the original. The Golden Disk Projector at the 08:36 mark reminds me of Gypsy from "MST3K," eating a slice of pizza.

The figure is impressive I admitted but the pass of time is really the biggest problem here the chrome plastic don't age well and the golden plastic neither I know is color bronze type of .... but you get the idea.
