Best thing since sliced bread. There's very few moments like this in "real and live" music. You can actually see the moment when this amazing band of musos pick Roseanne up and she then delivers a song for the ages. If you are watching this, you are seeing the art of music at it's fullest bloom. Aren't we the lucky ones!?

We gathered as a family Sunday to commemorate Mom's birthday at her gravesite. Bouquets of sunflowers were placed and we did our best to make it a festive occasion - despite the sadness. She loved us. She wanted us to be happy. She wanted us to be there for each other...and I pray that she continues to watch over us until we meet again. For now, we still ache. We know what it's like to be motherless children....

I love Rosanne's version of this song and I think the version on Transatlantic Sessions is even better than the one on 'The List'. Thanks for uploading tolliver15, fantastic stuff!

I did not know she performed with the Scotties. when I watch Julie Fowlis, Phil Cunningham, Aly Bain, Duncan Chisum, and Tony Byrne these musicians join them. She is connecting with her Scottish and English roots.

Anyone know what kind of Weissenborn JD is playing here? It sounds incredible, but then Jd could make bailing wire nailed to the barn sound stunning, I’m sure.
