Finally someone teaches about transducers, thank you captain. By the way I guess that in the screen is bait.

Red areas between 6-8 foot range is bait. Probably pilchards or thread fins. Looking forward to more videos on your boat. I have really enjoyed the boat build series.

Awesome video on transducers. I am still learning and your videos help. I don’t know what fish they are but I do know I would throw a JUJu to catch them! I hope I get considered for a shirt😉. Tight lines!

Great video thanks , I wound up with B175H transducer thru hull

Would it be possible to install two separate transducers? Say a transom mount with side scan and high frequency and also a thru hole low frequency transducer. But obviously only operate the one that is most beneficial in the water depth that you are in at that time
@ReelReports3 жыл бұрын
Yep. We plan on adding side scan transducer shortly.

Thank for the information, i'm always learning on your channel, i appreciate your time and expertise. i like to see a 20 to 30 minute videos, for example this video could have been 30 minutes long and you could have gone into depth on how to read the screen what to look for etc. Thank you and keep up the great work!!

Thanks for the over view of transducers Captain Mike! I’m not satisfied with my transom mount transducer on my 30’ CC , I would like to see the bottom while running at low rpm. I also fish in depths up too 500’ Thanks ! Looks like a ball of pilchards! 😎

So it’s shallow water (your moving around a 10’-12’). Looks kinda like your on the edge of the channel. The scattered dots could be seaweed. I didn’t see anything big that would scatter the bait ball you see at the end which makes me think seaweed more than fish. Towards the end that is definitely a bait ball. South Florida? So pilchards/thread fins probably.

Mangrove snapper off that ledge where the hardness is double refracted,I would guess a grouper sitting behind that pod,current is moving from your rear as the bigger fish is sitting nose into it
