this was such a well made isntructional video. i was able to focus on the information bc of the way the diagram was overlayed by the doctor's explanation with the summarized points on screen, and the black and white text screens adding a point one at a time as the doctor was explaining was so well done. not only did i learn about transducers super clearly, but i also learned how to make an effective presentation?!?! lol i now know how to properly make a slidehsow in which the 'visuals' arent just something for ur eyes to glaze over while listening

Beautifully explained. Helped me to understand the "why" behind the changes seen when transducer too low or too high.

Over the past few weeks I've had to obtain abdominal/bladder pressures and ICP's. I completely understand the transducing system with an a-line, cvc and I sort of understand the Swan. However, I just didn't understand the science behind it and the purpose of zeroing, or if I am even doing it right. This helped so much!!! My goal is to write a short presentation or guide for the RN's on my unit so they can keep these principals in mind when working with unfamiliar transducing situations. Thank you!

If I keep the transducer position fixed at heart level and move the limb of the patient up or down, would that impact pressures similarly?
