This video is showing the EASY step by step method to replace your Transfer Case fluid on a Jeep Wrangler JK. A 2016 Jeep Wrangler JKU was used in this video. SAFETY is a priority and it is recommended you use a service provider for servicing & maintenance of your vehicle.
Key Items needed to perform this task:
ATF +4 Transmission Fluid (2 Quarts)
Fluid Pump (many types on the market) - We used Slippery Pete 8cc Fluid Pump for Standard Quart Bottles purchased on Amazon w/ the 28mm opening)
18mm Socket (for Skid Plate)
10mm Hex Socket (Allen Socket)
Ratchet set or impact wrench
Torque Wrench
Safety Glasses, Towels, Rags, Gloves, Fluid Catch Pan
(Note: We capture the transmission (transfer case fluid) separately so we can recycle)
Please read your owner's manual for specific details on your fluid capacity & maintenance schedule.
Please use caution and understand the risks when off-roading and working on your vehicle. Use a professional service technician when necessary. Subscribe to our Channel for more Jeep modifications and maintenance tips. #gladiator #jeep #jeepwrangler
