@@fafagbedemah8960 not sure that can be done. Because Games that you bought on your system belong to your account. So you could copy it to the external hard drive but unless it’s a game that is on PS Plus or PSN which you’d both have to have. That would be the only way you could play co-op together. What game is it ur trying to play together. Maybe I could give better insight. Only game that you can do that with is a game called No way out! Only 1 person needs to own the copy of the game to play. But you have to have a co- op player to play it with you in order to play. If that’s the game you’re talking about then yes.

On his console but you can’t play the game in 2 different places at one time without both owning the game. Threw own PS accounts. Unless you have a Modded system. But I’ve never seen a modded PS4. Only consoles that I’ve seen modded was PS3-& X-Box 360 to pull off those kinds of cross play with the same game.

I’m currently waiting for my MW2 game to move to the hard drive. My problem was that I think I unplugged my consul while it was on too much and shorted out the hard drive. I was unable to start the PS4 until I did some things in safe mode. I ended up having to completely initialize/factory reset the system. Was very sad. When I got it back running I downloaded the games again but they corrupted almost immediately. That brought me to this video I will keep you guys updated.🤞🙏🏻

You can't have the USB formated to the PS, if you do that you can't put saved data onto it as I've discovered. An unformed USB works regarding saved data.

So my PS4 has been asking me to initialize a lot for unknown reasons and that's really annoying because I have to install my games every time after I finish initializing it, and I have seen this as the only solution to the problem. But my question is, can I use the hard drive for sth else other than store PS games like putting school files and other documents. Would that make it unsupported and ask me to format it again? I heard there was some issues with moving some games with DLC's from one external harddrive to another external Harddrive like the DLC's weren't registering in the game or something do you know why or how to fix this? or how to copy a game and the DLC from one external harddrive to another exdternal harddrive? The problem is you can't move games from 1 external harddrive to another external harddrive for some reason Sony's operating system doesn't recognise another harddrive with games on it as only 1 can be extended storage so if you have 2 external harddrives only one can be plugged in at a time that means you have to re-install games on the harddrive you want and redownload all the DLC? That's annoying is there another way?
