You are the 1st person ive seen on youtube that actually puts the apivar in properly lol. I watched the instructions from the actual company and you are the 1st person ive seen tht does them right. Thats something thats oddly important for someone that pays attention to the little things like me. Keep up the awesome videos. Just discovered your videos today and so ive been binge watching them lol

Just found you this morning, watched all your videos. I love seeing these mid size commercial operations. I don't know if you've said this elsewhere but do you do pollination or just honey and bee sales? I'm in south Kentucky, my 3rd year bee keeping, I've got about 32 hives now and I'm dead set on making my main income off of beekeeping. I'm hoping to get to around 150-200 colonies over the next couple years, if I can manage that than maybe more. I've been catching most of my bees feral from the woods withed mixed results! Some of them are pretty mean! One big problem I see coming up for me is good record keeping, it's hard to know what to record and what not to, especially once I start my own breeding program. I don't know if it would be your speed but would you consider addressing this in a future video? The last couple years I just record too much, wind up with 120 page note book full for 25 hives every few months which isn't helpful. Thanks, I'll be watching.

@@jefferyhammond1421 Hey Jeffery thanks for the comment! We do pollination, honey, nucs, Queens, dipping our toes in equipment sales, and festivals. You name it and we'll probably try to create a revenue stream from it! I used to use a notebook too but it was always messy and I was always losing them. I take all my notes now with Google Sheets and I've been very happy with it. The most important notes I take are the hive counts in each yard, mite counts, average hive weight, average quality of the hives in that yard, medication schedule, and last time I worked that yard.
