I know I’m almost certain you have videos on how to do something with jeans so my jeans I was wearing a 18 I am now wearing a 14 is there anyway to make them small or do I just have to turn them into a jean skirt?

WTG!!! I'm doing the same thing. I gave away all my Summer shorts last Summer because I figured I'd never be thin again. Then I lost 25 pounds over Winter, now I don't have any shorts that fit. It's so hot now, and I don't have AC, so I decided what I need to do is make some comfy sundresses. This creator has soooo many cute ideas, I don't know where to start!

Congratulations! I’m in the same boat. Luckily, a little shop recently opened in my tiny town that will buy & resell your clothes or even trade. She’s very selective about what she takes and I’d say 30% of the stuff in there has the tags on. I know a lot of the stuff i sold had tags. Anyway- my point being maybe there’s something like that near you? Plus, I hate investing in clothes when I’m not at my goal weight yet.

I like this idea. Gonna get a few shirts and make sure to get at least 2 with pockets. Then make sure the pockets are placed over the thighs to make it have built in pockets in the skirt!

If you wanted more coverage/lining in the front you could cut the halter shape on both layers of the top tee & sew them together with the yarn.

😊 interesting. I think it would have been a little cuter if you left the halter top part long so it went into the skirt and then just tied a belt/piece of fabric around the waist so it didn't have all those little ties and gathers and raw edge. And maybe put a few other lines with ties around the skirt like you did on the sides!

Thanks!! It isn’t heavy to me. Wash on gentle and I wouldn’t dry it with anything heavy like jeans.

​​@@BlueprintDIY - "Harem" pants that are only sewn at the crotch seam, and to add a tie at the waist front and back, and can be tied at the ankles or not (they overlap at the hips for modesty) seem to be making a comeback. I made a few back in the day for lakeside/beach nights! 😏
