This ignorant and uneducated fella created clouds of toxic dust filled with silica, which was not only harmful to people but made a mess of at least 50 high end cars to the car-lot next door, If he knew the fine he would have received had the city came out, plus the health issues he and his company caused to the neighborhood, indeed the fine or penalty of over 10 to 30 K would have been justified for the education they were in desperate need of.🤔

Hey there Kirk! I’m having an issue and can’t figure it out. I’m trying to re-stucco a few areas on my foundation and it keeps finishing lumpy. Just not very flat and inconsistent. I’ve tried a wetter mix and a dryer mix and it doesn’t trowel well and sometimes pulls off the wall in some areas. Almost like it starts setting up too quickly. I’ve also tried wetting the wall first. Then finishing with sponge trowel to try to match the heavy sponge trowel texture. Been using 1 part Portland to 3 parts sand. I appreciate any input!
@StuccoPlastering2 жыл бұрын
Howdy Derby, that means your not applying enough pressure and the walls are to dry, thus it bubbles or pops off, keep your trowel wet also, as a dry trowel will pull the stucco off the wall.🍾

Hello, Miami Dade Dude of Block Masonry; cheers, my fellow craftsman, for providing the world with a dirty but technique trade. We, too, perform the rough, hard, dirty, dusty, and sometimes dangerous work needed worldwide. Good things, this stuff gives me pleasure.🥳

Yo Kirk just wondering at the endings of urs videos I keep looking hmmmmm are u with a new woman????
@StuccoPlastering2 жыл бұрын
Hello Carmen, indeed, I met Judy, the woman at the end of the current video's another lifetime ago. My gut feeling points to this, society would speak of her as a soulmate from a past lifetime. The last woman you may have seen was my girlfriend, we split a couple of years ago; Like Janis Joplin sang, he’s looking for that home, and I hope she finds it. kzbin.info/www/bejne/pmjPl4yAgJJsjck/. Kirk giordano plastering, things that make you go hmmmmm.💃

Of course the chimney is more difficult, that's why I sent my boys to do it. I cant have all the fun, I have to share the glory.

so kirk, a contractor wants to sandblast our house after "repairing" our stucco issues. It doesn't seem like you do this.
@StuccoPlastering Жыл бұрын
Hi Laurie, sand blasting in our state was outlawed about 30 years ago, for good reason, it creates silica in the air which is as bad as asbestos when inhaled. Back when it was legal, it was done to remove the paint. Today, one would pressure wash well and then apply a bonding agent to the home, then stucco over the painted surface. Besides, if you correct the stucco, and then sandblast it, that would remove the stucco. Where's the logic in that. 🤔

i've been watching your videos on patching and fixing cracks so i can paint my house. But I kind of like this idea better than paint, my house is 60 years old so i guess it's settled. What to do?
