Hi. It isn't. The spring is only to push the knife out once inserted to be able to remove it. It is hold in place with a magnet. So the holder is actually at a dead end in normal use. Grts.

He is right about it. You could just connect it to the collet from the thin tip at the top. *Note.* It did not work this way.
