Looks fantastic! So much more light! Game changer for sure!

What a blast. When I need some light I’ll just have you open your door and pop them things on.

Would light videos in my garage for sure. I usually just open up the garage door and that allows light to flow in, but this looks like something that would be great even during a rainy or a colder day. And our "two car" garage only holds two cars if you have nothing else, which we do.

Yea, I could probably do videos in there now with all of the lighting, although its a bit echoey.

Great looking setup excellent video with all the info needed. I am curious, this looks basically identical to the Obsessed garage lights and I believe I heard Matt talking about this exact company as the one that makes their lights they drop ship. Was this the same thing you came up with or am I crazy?

Thanks. Yep, these are the same ones OG sells.

What kind of dimmer was required? I just installed 9 of these in my 3 car garage and would like the option to dim. Great video!
@SnareMan Жыл бұрын
Thanks for the dimmer is actually built into them. I didn't have to add any additional one

@@SnareMan How to you make them dim? THere's nothing in the instructions. It looked like you just turned the switch off and on again quickly? I tried that and it did nothing. Thanks!
@SnareMan Жыл бұрын
@@chrisbarnes4688 admittedly it's slightly finicky and I really never use it but It's something like you do a quick on off on of the switch or maybe off on and then it should start to dim down and when it gets to the level you want you do another off on. If you email prime lights they might be able to give you slightly better instructions

@@SnareMan Yeah, that is strange. On their site none of the these T8 Stingray ones are dimmable.

With all of those LED lights, I can here Debbie Boone singing "You light up my life". That blue beamer does have so much curb appeal. Now, on the serious side of things. LED's emit a lot of EMF energy. Try using a "TriField meter and see just how much energy is being generated. I discovered this one night, when I was operating my "Amateur Radio" The radio was on and I turn on my small LED table light. Instant static emitting from the speaker. LED light off, static stops. LED light on static starts. I also had a reoccurring rash on my left forearm, the same side the LED light was on. In turn, I replaced the LED with a "Halogen" bulb lamp. Rash disappears and has never returned. Go figure. I only opine here, because I care. LED's also connects your cell phone and most modern electronics to the "Internet of things".. Like your "Electric Meter" that networks with all the other Electric meters on the neighboring houses. Can you say "Dirty Energy??? Cheers, Mate.

Did you remove the square panel with the ground screw on it so that you could flush mount? If so, did you just ground to another location?

I don't know. I had them professionally installed.

How much was it for the electricians to install the fixtures?
@SnareMan Жыл бұрын
I think it came to around $500ish for the 2 of them for a few hours.
