It’s really cool to watch Rich being interviewed for a change, it’s not so much his success but his real human story that resonates with so many of us. This is a great interview and it’s always so nice that you let your guest relax and share so much of themselves with us!

Heavenly Father you have given me more than I know I deserve. I come before You with gratitude being a single mom with two sons with special needs. I pray that you bless me with your love, grace, and strength, as I tirelessly care for my family. I ask that You provide for my every need and sustain me in my daily struggles. Because Lord I’m overwhelmed struggling to pay rent each and every month struggling to buy groceries. I wish I had an easier life. Lord hear my prayers. ❤️💕❤️

The fact that vulnerability around masculine energy was brought up resonates with me on a deep level. I opened up to a friend of mine over the weekend and I didn’t do it for a pity party, I did it so we could connect on a more spiritual level. She received the information with open arms, something I haven’t experienced in a VERY long time. Now she understands what sculpted me into the human being that I am today!! I always knew there was benefits to opening up and being vulnerable, but the way it was broken down in this video connected the dots even more 🤞🏽 love this type of content !! What a time to be alive experiencing the awakening of humanity ❤️ Peace, Love, Positivity Forever

Good for you! I've found it difficult to express myself fully as an adult. Back in my 20's , I thought everyone was Spiritual. Now,after lived another 2 decades, I find that most adults are closed or have shut down that aspect of themselves. It's a beautiful thing when you can fully open up to another feeling safe in doing so!❤

Ive always thought sports would be such a good avenue for our youth who feel stuck, lost, angry & acting out. It gives them a means to burn off energy, learning discipline, commitment and also finding others who share the same passion and who will provide a brotherhood within it. We need more systems that can identify these young people that are struggling and help transition them into the physical activity. I think it would help so many out there.

So appreciate his level of awareness and his wisdom through his own lived experience. When he shared about “the on ramp for receptivity”, interesting how he could only think of the mind. Western thought is void of what the body feels and what the heart experiences in spiritual terms. After surviving 911 it was the body that informed me of what is actually happening all the time within and that was my spiritual awakening and on ramp to self receptivity. Because of my lived experience I know my mind alone won’t get me there.

Good evening Andre and Rich Again truly thankful for this today. I have alot of stuff happening right now. However one of my biggest concerns is something I cannot control. What to do, I simply don't know right now. Long painful story very short. Simply grateful for you guys and indeed Rich's podcasts over many years. Super sanity sensemaking brain gym. 💜

What a powerful message when Rich talked about navigating through the unknown landscape of growth, and change sometimes being in the doldrums, and without a sense of security from a neutral perspective, and not to judge oneself for where we're at in the process, and to keep on the path that calls to you and feels right. What a gift to be supported in such an incredible way from your wife, and now in turn giving that gift of insight and inspiration to all of us. There are so many golden nuggets to cherish from you both, thank you for a great and cool conversation. :)

I love this entire thing, thank you so much Andre. I did notice Rich refers to his "privilege" a few times. Not a fan of this concept or terminology. He wasn't gifted anything, and the entire 99.9% rest of his story speaks to that. "Privilege" is a narrative that certain people have assumed, and it doesn't resonate with me as being true at all. Fully acknowledging that this is my perspective, however still wanted to share here. Thanks for bringing such honor and integrity to your work, Andre. Truly impacting my life. 🙏🏼

Excellent interview. Thank you both. Rich Roll's combination of eloquence and high level self-reflection makes this very engaging. The interview could equally be called "No running away" (from yourself). Creating and choosing situations of challenge in life where we are confronted with our greatest blocks, fears and sabotaging voices is the only path to sustainable growth and deep transformation. Rich's diligence and dogged persistence in walking (or running!) his path and re-modelling his story is exemplary and inspiring.

@RE71476AD4 ай бұрын
Rich is an inspiration and started me off on my ultra journey at the tender age of 42. However, the real hero is his wife, Julie. As Rich acknowledges, without Julie not just being happy for Rich to pursue his endurance goals - with long days outside - and also to leave his 'safe' corporate job (I think they had 3 or 4 young children at the time too) but she actively encouraged him over many many years, going from being relatively well off to being relatively poor. If Julie was any other woman, noting that she did not have a steady well-paid job herself (yoga teacher I recall, amongst a few other things), I am certain that Rich would have had to go back to the corporate world and possibly back to alcohol, especially in the corporate world of today (which I personally have 15 years' experience and it has become worse). I ask, how many more 'Riches' are we missing out on due to the way modern society now works? Julie is the beating heart of Rich, and we need more Julies!

I don't get it why people who are changing for better are always called "dogmatic" whereas the all day long influence of advertising, brainwashing, shown off violence are never called by their -harming- names. I am very happy that RR finally talks about the big impact that makes the vegan way because he is the guest and does not risk to offend his guest as we all know that people who are still on their way or refuse the harm-less way get uncomfortable.
