I'm also 73. I live alone, off-grid, vegan & grow my own vegetables. I work out every day. My body tells me what it needs. I only need medical care when I have an emergency - like when I slipped on ice. My bones didn't even break. They're SO strong! Some people fret about me not doing the 'normal' things. However, when you live in an asylum, normal is quite different to living in nature and having spiritual practises. Love your attitude sister!

I did not have a mother who nurtured me. So when people talk about a mothers love it’s hard for me to relate. My spiritual journey has been a lonely one and at times extremely challenging. But I have been fortunate enough to experience the Divine creator one day during a difficult moment. The love i felt was so immense.. compassion might be a better word.. it was boundless and deep and I sobbed. You cannot stand up to such Love. It tears you open in all the best ways. ❤ And Ive become a vegan :)

If it aint broke, don't fix it! Don't feed negativity and believe you need a doctor to be healthy. I've been vegan over 8 years and just had a full blood panel (because of a poisonous spider bite infection) and every single category was in the sweet spot. I eat pretty healthy, but not always whole foods, take an inexpensive multi-vitamin and a few other vitamins a couple times a week. I hadn't been to a doctor in over a decade. Being vegan is a spiritual journey. Love this woman so much... such an inspiration!

Sometimes Routine Check - Up’s are necessary especially in our 60s, 70s, 80s & beyond !!! It’s part of maintaining A healthy lifestyle!!! It doesn’t hurt to go to A primary physician; double check to make your labs & hormonal levels are within normal rage . As well maintaining that healthy exercise, mental health & eating Patterns 🤓!!!
@anapantz3 ай бұрын
@@atimnile2401 I totally 100% disagree. It most definitely can be detrimental to your mental / spiritual health (and therefore to your physical health) to participate in the medical industrial complex matrix. Babette gets it, but not everyone is there yet. If you personally want or feel you need to see a doctor to make you feel secure because you are not comfortable listening to your body and inner self, then by all means, do that. But in no way do healthy, happy vegans *need* to go to the doctor to maintain a healthy lifestyle. That's just propaganda from the pharmaceutical industrial complex... who works in conjunction with the medical industry.

watching since a few month Rich Roll and just read his book, I just have to put out a huge thank you. As I keep watching I am more and more falling in love with this american westcoast kind of view on life. its so open, its so non-judgemental, its so positive. of course not always and everywhere. but as I also watch UK podcasts and other big US based podcasts I must recognize that there is a special thing to the californian way of thinking. god how much I'd love to come over there and feel that spirit all by myself. surprise: I'm writing this as a German from Germany. and however wired it may wanna sound I am probably the least typicall German in my whole country. I even see it as maybe my one big failure to not being able so far to set up at another place even though I lived in down under for a year.... The more I see Germany destroying itself the more I love to listen to Rich Roll and Meg Robbins. Sure you have your own thing going on with this crazy orange colored guy but man, at least you got a landscape over there - Richs running backyard for example - where you can recalibrate yourself to get yourself back on track. I was listening to a german podcast yesterday with a psychologist whos 35 years in the job. the host tried to ask great questions but the whole discussion was so hard to listen to. packed with overthinking and wired theoretical thoughts.... it was impossible to listen moren then 15 minutes. Inspiration? Forget it. Sometimes I really feel like Schwarzenegger, that at my heart, I just dont belongto the european continent. Over here they more and more become masters in creating unnecessary problems. The better that there is a Rich Roll podcast in this world. Thank you man! Your're one of a kind of an inspiration! 💪😎 Bam!!
