I had the chance to meet Garrain before he is where he is, before the money and influence he has now. He was always this soulful, you knew he had something phenomenal. He was still very honest and would give you a massive light. You stepped in his presence you felt an aura of safetiness, love, grace and hope. Went to his workout. I Spoke to him and saw him in Culver city at the nutrition club which he knows where that was. I saw him speak to a crowd, small group, and one on one. I had the pleasure to speak to him many times. To see and speak this way it isn't surprising. He changed my mindset and therefore changed my life. His gift just reached a multitude of people and we are seeing what he has inside! Garrain thank you for being you, and sharing yourself to the world and taking the time to share your wisdom, grace and love! This was by far one of the best podcast Ed has had. Many people need to hear this!

When he said how does someone leverage rock bottom I felt that. I’m currently going through a paradigm shift. Was trialed as an adult for an armed robbery at 15 and it sent me down a path of guilt and pain that I now feel and regret. I went from a street kid to a family man of 4 boys and a beautiful life. I am truly grateful for everything I’ve been blessed with, but now I’m cleaning out my closet to open room for even more blessings! I just shared my story for my first time ever and it was the most uncomfortable thing that I’ve ever done but it gives me something to reflect on that’s out of my control because if it was me that posted it I probably would have deleted it with it being my first interview on an actual podcast. But on a side note: When he said the universe was striping everything away from him so that he could be with himself long enough to realize how much of his power was being given to the outside world. This is a long time coming. Years ago I watched both your episodes on Impact Theory. Garrain reminds me so much of my son that passed recently. The set backs, challenges, womanizing (sorry son), etc. Such a big heart but yet broken inside and unable to forgive himself for things he did in the past. Garrain's story is so important for others. I can relate to it at my age and I wish so much that my son would have had the opportunity. I'm glad to be introduced to him for the 1st time. Something I heard in this interview was about growing up w hardships, can't recall exactly how it was said but I do believe that we live at such a deeper level than those who grew up w the perfect childhood. You both do such important work, I'm looking to hearing more of Garrain and as always, Ed. Gratitude to you both.

I'm broke, I don't have a job, I dropped out of College in pursuit of becoming a Paralegal, and I'm on Psychiatric drugs. My life purpose is to get off the psychiatric drugs and become happy and successful like Garrain and Ed! I pray to God every single day and I listen to the God in me to guide my steps along the way. Wow… so deep. My heart burned within as I listened all the way through. I forgive those who didn’t believe in me or just ignored me or who didn’t have time to pay attention… We were supposed to take the hight school to state. And we did but I was not on the team. Dang… watched us loose from the audience. I could have made a difference or at least help comfort as we lost together. I forgive myself. I was a fool! Coach Guyton believed in me but the hood nearly took me under. I forgive and let it go! I still like drawing… My school hung one of my drawings in the mall once. All my friends saw it. Was so cool but I never thought I was good enough… many struggles back then. I forgive them all and myself. I love them all and I love God and myself… I’m 45. Probably not gonna play basketball… knees hurt…lol But I can still practice drawing… This was so deep guys… something happened… I felt something. Thank you!

Pretty powerful that you said that the resentment and amends he did was the most powerful thing you’ve heard on the show EVER. That comes straight out of the Book of Alcoholics Anonymous. It’s step 4 and 8. Making a list of resentments and then making amends to them all. This is exactly where that freedom comes from and I’m grateful that was said on this episode ♥️

When I was a boy I loved playing baseball. Even more than hitting a homerun was full sprint running diving catch ending with a perfect tumble and bounce back up and throw to the cutoff man before my feet hit the ground again. Even if the diving tumbling wasn't necessary I would still have a dramatic approach to fielding the ball becuse I fucking loved what I was doing. I loved it. Then people started telling me what I was doing isn't the right way and you need to play like everyone else. The big one was "STOP BEING A SHOWBOAT AND JUST PLAY." Never did coach Bob tell me this. I know 10000% with the right guidance I would have played ball. When I take my boys to the batting cage I only go in the pro cage. Sometimes it takes 20 minutes to make contact but I still catch up top it. Im 52 and I still pull a handful grass and smell it when I walk across a patch of grass or a ball field. I feel the energy guys!!!

A while back one day while I was at work having one of fhe worst days of the entire school year, something possessed me to write a list of people who hurt me up until that day. And I put myself on that list. And I wrote a letter forgiving them all. And I wrote a letter to myself. And I wept and wept and wept and wept. The stress from work was crushing me and the stress from carrying all that resentment was crushing me even more. But after I got that all out of my system, I felt like I could breathe. I slept the best I had ever slept that day. And my art business began to grow. And grow. And grow. This is a practice I maintain to this day. When I feel down, it means I need to let go of the weight that is drowning me. So I write my letters. Sometimes I burn them. Sometimes I save them. Sometimes I don't even write but rather say it out loud so that I can hear it. Thank you for this episode. This is amazing.
