Your best advice is to wear what makes you feel good and confident. I like how you described why you love showing your figure in a fitted mini dress. Hi Heather. I have another question for you. I am obsessed with third layers like you. I honestly don’t know how to dress without one now. Seriously. What do I do in the summer? My spring uniform is a white tee and white denim, with a third layer, but where I live summer comes abruptly and it is suddenly very hot, so I take off my blazer at lunch and now I’m wearing white jeans and a white tee. My 18 year old son says, "nice white outfit, Mom" and I say, “I know, it looks good with my jacket though.” I honestly dread summer dressing cause I can’t wear my third layer. I am slim but the mid 50’s give you some lumps and bumps. Ugh! Wearing a tee alone is a no go…😔

Same issue. I wear curved hemline shirts that offer some coverage. I find the Pilcro muscle tees from Anthropologie are good. Also, I need a shaped top since I leave things untucked. Except, if I do a half side" tuck.
