I LOVE the new rust effect paints! I used dark rust over rough iron for a hand made I beam that I used to cover up the intended foot position on an apothicary kit bash I did recently. Then I stippled on fresh rust in a zig zag, and then blended with another dark rust stipple, and it came out SPECTACULARLY realistic looking

A good idea, as there are quite a few now :) I tried some that i have not used before recently on a Bretonnian Sorceresss and i do like the variety we have nowadays :)

I was just using the old Army Painter rust effect last night on Loot Studio's Beholder beerstein. No matter what you use it on, it always seems to come out great! Such an easy way to add dimension and grit to a project.

aha yes! I know there are other texture paints out there such as The AK diorama range - which i think is superb btw! But i like to make the most out of the paints in front of me and i thought these would work nice enough :)

@@SwordsandBrushes Just completed a number of the Gale Force Nine ALIENS miniatures that I used for a Alien RPG game. But Gandalf from the Fellowship and the Balrog are my favourites so far! (using your videos!)

I was actually thinking of you when making this video! haha I thought these would be excellent for Gaslands! I recently finished up a commission and they didnt want the spare parts, they will make some nice kit bashing - so i will be dabbling my hand into Gaslands very soon I also watched both of the Death Race films recently and they peaked some ideas for it! - Go Frankenstein!! :):)

i think rust and skeleton weapons go hand in hand, as well as dungeon and torture chamber scatter terrain, since I'm more of a D&D gamer rust fx would a cool texture for the iconic rust monster

@@SwordsandBrushes Я красил Огров для D&D другу и использовал на оружие))) Жаль нет возможности как-то показать((( жду следующие видео у меня есть oozing vomit последнее,что успел урвать из эффектов, а и oil stains тоже очень крутой эффект

I'm just watching your videos because I have a crush lol. But in all honesty, I'm putting together a new set & beginning to airbrush 3d printed models. Any chance you could do a video on that? I'm mostly going to be printing & painting larger warcraft characters & animals. Hoping the kidney I sold to buy it all will mean I can make a living off it.
