Lisa’s last question on what if someone doesn’t like my boundaries.. I think it shows how in Christian circles we have a flaw in our personal understanding of self. It doesn’t matter if someone else like my personal boundery, it’s my boundery. Our body is a temple of the Holy Spirit and it’s up to me to say what is ok and what is not ok, for my mind, body and spirit to put up with. Israel didn’t like God’s boundaries in the old restatement at time but that didn’t change God’s boundary towards his ppl.

The first few lines reminded of a something that came to mind yesterday when i was thinking about healthy boundaries. (I actually feel like God is reemphisizing this topic to me because i came across this yeach now) . Righteousness is like a boundary God set between us and Himself. But als gave us Jesus so we could achieve talking to Him. So we go to Him through Jesus, without Jesus we can't get to Him.. Why do we see boundaries as bad if God has them? 0:04

This was so helpful in so many ways trying to navigate the balance of serving and personal boundaries is not talked about enough. This is an answer to prayer and understanding. Thanks for making this and God bless.

I got way too much counsel from Oprah, and one of her faves is, "You teach people how to treat you." Apply that bit of "wisdom" and you destroy people and relationships. Worldly wisdom has a grain of truth nestled in complete self-interest.

How do you get an adult child to talk to you that has been silent for 2 years ?👫

Lisa should relax and not rush. She interrupted Chip all the time because she seemed rushed. It is better to ask less questions to him and let him talk. We need to hear from his teachings. But Lisa talked more than him!.
