Its takes weeks and sometimes months to see the final results cause new collagen takes that long to build. Also, depending on the depth of the treatment, there might be very noticeable stubborn redness present for a long time. I had it once for almost a year. Being very cautious with CO2 lasers since then.

I did 3 sessions of erbium laser resurfacing and did not get any results from them. Not only that, my face swelled horribly each time and my providers said they had never seen anyone swell that bad, and months following I was still able to see pigment dots on my face from the laser marks and started frecklinf and getting malasma marks where I did not have this problem prior. I had horrible acne growing up and it continued into my adult years, even now that I'm in my 30's, but I've started taking spironolactone, which has helped keep it at bay. I was hoping to improve the appearance of all that scarring and start stepping up my game now that I'm in my 30's. Pretty disappointing after all the money, heal time and discomfort. Yes, I was careful when choosing who to go to, but maybe I should have been more willing to travel. They are some of the best Idaho has to offer, but maybe that just isn't enough. Any ideas why I may have gotten this result, or lack thereof, and recommendations moving forward? Thank you, so grateful to have found you and to have access to all of the education you provide!

I personally love my fractional ablative CO2 results (done in the Netherlands). I was a bit disappointed after the initial baby fresh skin went away and I was looking the same as before the treatment considering the downtime but 6 months out I now really see the results. I will try to get something like a Fraxel yearly to maintain my results. By the way, you look so pretty in this video Dr. Kappel :)

@@mariacardaropoli90 improved texture. But my face got even better results. I think with the neck you might have to get regular yearly lighter version treatments for upkeep. It’s so pricey here in the States that I only got one treatment. Checked with a local doctor here this last year and he’s charging 3,700 for the treatment now. I can’t afford that. Stefani can you tell me what you would recommend for people with Rosacea ? I was interested in treating my Rosacea but would like a treatment that would do double duty and do some skin tightening for mild laxity on my face and neck. I hear the neck is a no, no area because the heat would melt my neck fat if you can fill me in as to what treatments are available for that area for mild laxity and crepe that is creeping up that would be great. Right now I am doing microneedling and copper peptides as after treatment for that area I am also going back to retin-A. The laxity is super mild but visible in certain daylight conditions. I am starting my winter regime with retin-A to help with that. I was really interested in the Nefertiti botox lift ? I don't have obvious vertical banding but I do have some horizontal banding and worried that might be causing the slight crepe? I am Spanish descent and a Fitzpatrick II.

Doc I had fractional co2 laser 12 weeks ago. The healing time was 7-10 days as my doc was a little aggressive. Love the skin but while the skin laxity under my eyes seems better there are some days it looks the same 😂 I’m guessing there is some waxing and waning ?? At three months is the best that can be expected? My doc is saying she cannot even think of doing another until I am six months. Just curious as to your opinion on why some days they look better than others ?❤ My doc used topical cream and a had oral pain meds. But I did do entire face and neck even over the eyes with eye shields

I need some help understanding why I suffer a pretty damn bad breakout every time I go in for a laser. Is it the serum or the Novacaine cream? We are trying to figure it out together. What is going on because the entire purpose of me getting Potenza or Thermage is to hopefully improve my embedded whiteheads that always come back and some tightening around the jawline. I was initially wanting Ellacor as you suggest but these were my finance options. I switched these more powerful lasers to the clear and brilliant which I like however, I want something super deep like the CO2, but I don't want to deal with constant breakouts. It never gets better so please help. Thank you!

I’ve spent $6,000+ on 1 “fully ablative” CO2 from a derm and 2 “fractionated partially ablative” CO2 from a PS. No improvement! For me, medical dermabrasion was far more effective, but few modern docs perform it anymore. Do you think Phenol peels are even more impactful for retexturizing scars?

I have an appt in December for CO2 laser. I inquired as to what could help my undereye area and was told CO2. At that time, the Dr advised she would not do the eyes only for that reason. She either does eyes with full face, or not at all.
