Hello. I have plenty more videos to make still but I am producing them as fast as I can when I am not working. Around 10 hours of work goes into each video with the planning and question writing so you can expect maybe 1-2 per week max I am afraid.

15:52 I see you moving it in the Y axis, why is it a reflection on X axis while you moved it down and up? I'm really confused, someone please help.
@maryamkarim30819 ай бұрын
Well think of it like this: The x-axis is horizontal. So the points are moving up and down but staying horizontal to the x axis The y-axis is vertical. So the points are moving left and right but staying vertical to the y-axis. Hope that helps x

Will they always give the pink line in exam questions? (10:00 exam q example) Cuz i find the whole sine, cosine and tangent graphs thingy hard to understand so if they tell me to draw it out myself im doomed. If they give the line, i can do the rest i pretty much get it. (I hvnt learnt this topic in school yet but its included in my mocks so i came to the best maths teacher to learn it myself - TYSM for being such a great teacher, ur explanations make even the hardest concepts easy to understand, ur so underrated, i always tell all my friends about u

Hi thank you that is very kind of you to say. In a question where you are asked to transform a graph like that they generally draw one for you then ask you to draw the transformed one. Or they could give both graphs and ask you what the tranformation was. (So giving the equation of the graph or the function).

what if there is a coefficient for each of the reflections in the axis? like y=f(-2x) or y=-3f(x)?
@1stClassMaths10 ай бұрын
Good question. This is not covered at GCSE but is covered at A-level (including without the reflection so just 3f(x) or f(3x)) For reference it will cause the graph to stretch. You might want to look that up but it won't appear in your exam.
