The y value, in your case it will be the positive 2, will be negative. 1) when reflecting over the *x axis* , the y values turn to their opposite 2) when reflecting over the *y axis* , the x value turns to their opposite 3) when reflecting over the *origin* , both the x and y values turn to their opposite. Examples: *Reflect (-2,2) over the **_X-Axis_* Well, the y value will be negative, so the answer is (-2, -2) *Reflect (-2,2) over the **_Y-Axis_* Well, the x value will be positive since the opposite of a negative is a positive, so the answer is (2,2) *Reflect (-2,2) over the **_origin_* Well, both values turn to their opposites, so the answer is (2,-2)
