Thanks all, this was a great exploration of Transformational Mediation, as a person-centred therapist I found Dan's approach very similar. It is amazing how powerful reflection and silence can be. Ben I know this was years ago but I'm wondering if you did enjoy that wine and if you still felt that Dan picked up on one aspect of Lisa's experience and gave it more weight, watching the video myself I feel that Lisa from the start was talking about betrayal of trust and relationship breakdown and that when you both focused on the repair of the relationship that was when you were able to move forward. I really found this useful.
