It has been said again and again in books, lectures and interviews, but never have it heard it is so much clarity and simplicity. I thought I had figured inner journey in my story, but the little points that he shared has completely transformed the way i look at stories. Thanks a ton. Free lecture worth gold.

Michael Hauge is so brilliant. My favourite person when it comes to storytelling and pitching. When he talks, it's not just a storytelling lesson, it's a psychology lesson, but then, they are often one and the same. Stories and life are synonymous.

Absolutely love his teaching style and his ability to motivate serious writers to explore their deepest, darkest trauma and secrets. Thank you Michael Hauge. You are transforming the world through encouraging each of us to heal, to share our pain, and on a world changing level - you are teaching others the same. You make the world a better place, where unity and human dignity can not just survive, but thrive. Thank you

What Michael calls transformation, gurus call enlightenment. I just finished Sadhguru's Inner Engineering and it's cool to hear a different explanation about the same separation of your true self from your mind/body/identity/ego.

Thank you Michael. Your sense of intellect and human approach is amazing. You've helped me discover deeper meanings for both of my protagonists. So good.

So is the defensive behavior (to protect themselves from feeling the pain of the wound again) the character flaw? I always thought the flaw is something people are born with, like perfectionism, control, irresponsibility, etc. Could someone explain the difference if there is?

Our jobs become our identity and we get to a point of doing our jobs unconsciously we make our lives automated and this is biblical as job is job job is job hes working the manifestation process not "working for someone else" or doing to involve the ego. Its tuff its a good thing to get trapped this launches the character into his true self or so he thinks repeat and repeat

The audience there DO NOT understand how deep this lecture goes... not as a writer/movie maker tool but in term of human psychic / Archetypes and the Alchemical nature of life. This is Master Piece not a lecture.

I can't see how this formula applies to Mysteries or detective stories. The criminal May very well have wounds but he doesn't ever transform - he just gets caught. The pursuer or detective doesn't usually transform. - he just succeeds at his job by catching the criminal. Yet these films usually work. So. . . ?????

You felt the need, in Woke fashion, to acknowledge the original Native American nations who occupied that territory. A word from history: the Haudenosaunee (who you mentioned), completely killed off the Wendat in 1649. They did so to acquire their hunting grounds. That’s because many native tribes were just as malignant as the Europeans. Native warfare, barbarity, and genocide existed before Europeans came to the continent. Whoops.
