yeah i have that cage on my zve1. but not the hand grip. i feel it really protect my camera.

FYI - I can put the Sony ECM-B1M mic on my ZV-E1 with the Ulanzi cage. The top handle even fits (just!) with the ECM-B1M mic.

Hi ! thx for the vid, I've exactly the same set up (ZV-E1 + Tampon 20-40mm) ! What variable ND filter do you have cause I've strong vignetting and black cross from 20mm to 30mm with my kenko filter

Amazing video! Subcribed immediately. I'm an indie filmmaker and documentarian trying to buy my first video camera. but I'm stuck between the FX30 and the ZVE1. With your experience with this camera. Do you recommend it as a filmmaking tool as well? Everyone tells me to go go for the fx30 but my gut keeps bringing me to the ZVE1. Love your content, would love to hear your advice!

Thanks! It depends. If you film in hot climates or need to film for 1hr+ continuous, zve1 is not suitable

Yes I did that research and it turns out they don't support Sony native shotgun mics because they are obstructed and I think it's an awful design
