Hey guys the Fire Brothers here and today we are going to be taking a look at Transformers DOTM and searching for errors that Michael Bay and the production didn't want you to notice, DOTM is my favorite Transformers movie and while there are several errors in it, its frankly more minor and less noticeable than the previous movies. However, with my amazing eagle eyes I was able to catch some of these, nothing escapes pass my eyes. So much like the previous 2 videos where I covered 2007 and ROTF I made this video calling out some of the funnier/sillier mistakes that can be found in the movie, now I don't exactly cover all the errors in this video since there are way too many of them to condense in a 20 minute video. If you guys like this then I will make a part 2 covering errors from ROTF, DOTM and even some shows like TF Prime and Beast Wars.

Note:in the starscream "fight" against Sam wheeljack says the boomsticks have 30 seconds until the explode and when sam picks up the boomstick he activates it and 30 seconds later he says they have 20 seconds until it explodes then 30 seconds later it explodes,Sam should have been dead the whole scene is almost a whole minute 10 seconds after he is thrown into the building and activates the boomstick

With the Barricade error, Frank Welker actually voiced both Barricade and Soundwave and of course Shockwave. So it's not necessarily an error, but I see where you are getting it from. It was originally gonna be a protoform that was gonna shoot Que, but Bay switched it at the last minute to Barricade to get a more emotional appeal of having him die at the hands of a deception that we already knew, and Bay didn't have time for Jess Harnell to record the lines for Barricade, so he asked Frank Welker to do it instead.

I found one, when Ratchet says "Mortar that bridge!" like 2 seconds later you can see him in vehicle mode as carly is running past the screen. Even tho hes supposed to be a robot, its a split second shot tho

4:56 what makes this one worse is that he has unlimited swords in his arms. During has rampage before killing shockwave, he uses a sword from each arm. Then we he's about to engage sentinel, he brings another sword out from his right arm. Like how many is he hiding up there? So you can't even say he didn't want to use his swords because it would be a waste

Great video. I'm with you too. Dark Of The Moon is definetly my favourite Transformers movie from the Transformers Sequels. But as much I love this movie, even I can't deny this movie has it's flaws and errors. Even the movie Jurassic Park one of my favourite movies of all time also has errors. But that doesnt mean it changed my opinion. My opinion maintains the same, I still love this movie but it's not perfect. But Dark Of The Moon is definetly an improvement over Revenge Of The Fallen. So overall Dark Of The Moon is a fun action movie but it's flawed. But the good stuff outweighs the bad stuff for this movie. I wish I can say the same thing for Age Of Extinction and The Last Knight.

17:17 I might be wrong but the decepticons might not be hidden on the dark side of the moon. Hence why you see the drag marks for the pillars. The ark was on the dark side but the decepticons had to remove the pillars and go hide elsewhere on the moon because optimus was supposed to go to the ark and find sentinel

In a scene where wheeljack gives Ironhide his weapons if you look in the background on the right, behind the N.E.S.T cars, you can see another autobot with a black color, this could be one of the twins or maybe someone else.

Another error: when Optimus transforms after Ironhide smacks him, the blue cab of his truck transforms into a cape like object, even though his cab is his legs. Meaning he shouldn't have legs in that scene. 🤔

Good video, also I noticed quite a few missing robot mistakes during the Sentinel Betrayal scene, such as Ironhide's wheel being blown off then reappearing afterwards, Ironhide's remains missing in the scene where Sentinel drives away with the Pillars, and the missing damage from where Sentinel shot the place up minutes prior. Also where did Bumblebee disappear to when he backflipped over the gate? Because that was literally right next to where the humans were firing at sentinel, and if Sideswipe and Dino drove underground to the base while Ironhide and Bumblebee stayed on ground level, then where were they while Sentinel went Underground and started destroying the place? (I wouldn't consider those last 2 errors, more just loose ends)

I just realized. Optimus was supposed to kill bumblebee in tf5. (Probably) Hasbro probably realized the movie was going to be worth than they thought and didn't want to dig their hole deeper.

The scene with the office workers still in the building running around mad crazy I’ve always chalked up to; they’ve been there ever since the decepticons invaded, and I have not been able to leave, or else risk being blown away. Whether or not they intended for that to happen makes sense so that’s what I’m going with.

I haven’t finished the video but my favorite part as a Chicago citizen is that Sam lives in an apartment in DC but all those scenes out and around his place are clearly shot in downtown Chicago. Just something i thought I’d add. Oh, the NEST base which is also in DC is also shot in Chicago and can be seen in the background during the climax which actually takes place in Chicago.

After the highway chase scene, when Iron Hide drives into those two decepticons, you can clearly see film equipment like a crane and stuff in the background.

If I may add another thing: This may not be an error, but it’s something I’ve noticed recently as I rewatched the Mexican Standoff scene repeatedly. One of Crowbar’s dreads falls off his back which a female bystander almost trips over as she runs. Another guy nearly gets hit by one of the dread tentacles but doesn’t seem fazed by it. Either it’s a CGI mistake or not, I have no clue. Just something that always caught my attention.

Another thing about the Apollo 11 landing site is that the later missions didn't landed on the same place, in fact if I remember correctly the closest they got from the Sea of Tranquillity after that was during Apollo 16 which landed in the Cayley Formation region, 379 km away from one another. Considering that according to the movie they were going there to study the Ark crash site I'd say that they landed a little to far away to be able to do anything with it.

It’s been a while since ive seen it but if i remember correctly, Optimus switched to handheld weapons in this one rather than transformable ones. You see him pick his energon sword up from his trailer in the beginning of the movie. So that’s why he couldn’t cut himself out of the cables

Not an error, but something my friend pointed out to me when I showed him a clip of the Highway chase to explain what happens when a Transformer transforms with a human inside, but the green screen of Sam flying after Bumblebee Transforms to jump over that one crashed truck is not very good looking.

21:05 Thats not an error! Its actually correct. Its an optic illusion. If you go back and check the chair before Megatron sits on it you will see that the chair cuts right there. Meaning that Megatrons foot is just near the cut of the chair
