Already spent 125 bucks on tickets and more tickets to buy. Watched it first time yesterday, again just today, and again but in 3D

I hope the movie at least breaks even or it does so good that we get sequels. But its a bit early to judge and who knows we just might be hitting the panic button too soon and the movie does really well.

I just got done watching this movie and IT WAS THE BEST TF MOVIE OF ALL TIME like I’m 12yrs old and have been a lifelong fan and have seen every single tf movie but this one WAS PEAK TRANSFORMERS!💯

I wouldn’t worry too much about this dude because last year Teenage Mutant ninja Turtles mutant mayhem had the same scenario where it wasn’t all that impressive at the box office it did really well in toy sales and it did save the movie and it got sequel so it’s the same scenario for this movie

Today I went to my local target and they had the new legacy energon galvatron core class figure and I decided to get it. But the scanner wasn’t reading the barcode and they couldn’t find it in the system. Eventually a manager came and looked at something and he told the employee it wasn’t the official street date for it yet. So he let me have it for $4.99 usd

Sincerely from us in Mexico, the original trailer actually had professional VA doing the work and it was so good, you can look it up. This star talent was so bad that it literally made a lot of people tell others to stay away from it. Had paramount just gone with the proper VAs and not some random little bug streamer then the story rn would be so different.

I want more animated movies With GI Joe and Lorenzo, i don't want more Live Action movies Even all concepts (or many of them) have already been used in Bayverse and reboot, so I want to see more of this new animated universe

THE MOVIE WAS PERFECT!!!

Transformers fans need to stop being "fans" and view it as objectively as possible. Paramount released this movie past Summer calendar of 2024. You don't release a children's movie past their primary VACATION period. Instead, it's in late September, where most children are in school, sports, music, etc. Someone needs to be fired for this decision alone. Second, the movie's plot was based on the 2007 The Bee Movie, starring Jerry Seinfeld. Each plot and story beat was directly lifted from that movie. My own wife, walked out of the movie (special screening a week before release), because she was bored out of her mind. She has seen how this story was told and even the plot twist was laughably the same as the Bee movie. Again, sit down, watch the Bee movie... they're both the same movie, beat for beat, with Transformers instead of bees. The entire third act was horribly rushed, because it had to make it's own liberties to the Bee Movie's final act. You had so many plot lines, MacGuffins, deaths/rebirths, executions and betrayal; all at the last 10 minutes of the movie. That's not how story telling works. It does a good enough job for "fans", but for actual movie goers, they're not impressed with a giant toy commercial. The international market is the only way this movie will make back it's budget, break even and possibly a sequel. Unless China/India bans the movie for criticizing the caste system, the TF One will most likely break even. Remember, the main theme for both movies was "freedom" and most communist runned countries... that's a big no-no; especially "questioning" authority.

I'm "Prowl". I'm the one who posted the links for the Digital/Physical preorder for the movie. I knew to look for it because others (including very successful movies) have also gone up for Preorder (especially digitally) the same day, or week, of theatrical release. It's just Apple/Amazons way to capitalize on the hype of new releases and nothing to do with box office numbers.

There's a lot of reasons for this but there's really 3 reasons: 1.) Marketing. Terrible first trailer and was a very poor representation of the movie plus so many early screenings several weeks out definitely hurt this. If they had did those screenings a week before release, it could've carried some momentum than the momentum it lost after that first week of screenings. 2.) Transformers fatigue. This is coming right after Rise of the Beasts, which didn't exactly light the world on fire either and I'm not sure there was demand from general audiences for an animated Transformers movie at this stage. Maybe after Age of Extinction when the franchise was still hot but not now. 3.) Release date. The movie should've released in August when all there was to watch was Deadpool & Wolverine, it would've found a bigger audience there. It losing to the 3RD WEEKEND of a Beetlejuice sequel, which is killing it with family audiences is a terrible look no matter how you slice it and will likely lose even more family audiences to The Wild Robot, which looks to be appealing to everyone. Usually, animated movies that start off softly like this have time to grow but it's gonna be very difficult for this to find an audience I feel and the international audience has carried the last 4 Transformers movies but even that doesn't look to be the case here. It doesn't look good but if the $75 million budget thing is accurate, it won't be a total box office disaster and might have a decent chance of breaking even but I don't expect a Transformers Two is coming. A shame because it's a really solid movie with great drama and action and a good story and characterizations.

Sad thing is that some kids just illegally record the film i nthe cinema and be stupid about it

It has been silently released in Brazil on 09-19, and the first screening was supposed to have sort of a raffle for the fans, but there was… Nothing… not even free popcorn… Way to go, Paramount! Nobody know it’s already out and I saw IMAX screenings that haven’t sold a single ticket. Don’t know how’s in the US, but down here is a complete mess…

Honestly, TF1 is my favorite transformers movie. Thats a bold statement, however it deserves it. The refrences, the story, the action and everything was awsome! I'm praying it has a sequel and I definitely recommend it. I give it a 10/10.

Movies have come back before where they had a rough patch, only to become very successful. I'm hoping that will be this case.

I love the transformers one movie and it was wayyyyy better than what I expected (thought it was gonna be another dumb kids movie). And while the movie did do a pretty good job with lore for a casual audience I do have a few nitpicks, just personal preferences as someone who is invested into the TF mythos but nothing which would make the movie “bad” by any means. 1. They had the Autobots and Orion keep their old names. Tho this was done for the characters to be more recognisable it is a bit jarring that the only miner who doesn’t have a name is D-16. Since in other series (like TF Prime and Idw comics) the autobots were all higher up in the cast system unlike Megatron and the other decepticons. It also made more sense for the betrayal of D-16 and Orion because they both came from different social classes, Optimus could never truly understand the pain and suffering D-16 went through so for me personally I didn’t find the transition from D-16 to Megatron in TF: One satisfactory. 2. D-16 becoming Megatron felt a little rushed. While did see how he changed as a character but that change didn’t feel strong enough to undo the strong friendship that the movie built in the beginning. I feel like we should’ve had more time seeing the rift between D-16 and Orion grow and have 1 moment which completely sends D-16 over the edge, perhaps when trying to save Orion from falling in, instead of dropping Orion, they both fell in together and like in TF:Prime when Orion was chosen as the next prime, that jealousy was what caused D-16 to become Megatron. Alternatively they could’ve had Optimus and Megatron still be friends at the end but a lot more rocky of a relationship then in the 2nd movie we could see Optimus and Megatron rebuild and lead cybertron like in the Bayverse comics as they fight against the quintessons as the rift between them grows then something else is what triggers Megatron and Optimus falling out and they become enemies (maybe the introduction of the allspark and megatron’s growing desire for power, just spitballing ideas) 3. The high guard were underbaked as characters. Maybe it was due to not enough run time in the movie but the high guard turning felt very sudden, they were cooperating just fine with Orion and Elita to save the captured from Sentinel but I didn’t get why they immediately began terrorising Iacon right after Sentinel died. They use to serve the primes and help protect cybertron right? Felt way too sudden for them to commit acts of terrorism when the person they hated was already dead. This goes back the reason no.1 with the autobots being miners now, Megatron is fighting against the oppression they faced by the higher cast (which use to be the Autobots in Idw and TF:Prime), but in TF:One he’s fighting for the Autobots to save them from Sentinel but once Sentinel is dead he turns on his fellow miners and attacks them? Again I really think the first movie should’ve ended in peace with Sentinel’s death and Orion and D-16 becoming Optimus and Megatron, then their differing ideology and falling out would happen in the 2nd movie
