i love that they gave nightshade and jawbreaker beast modes, because i think its interesting that, insted of turning into something like a helicopter or jeep or whatever, they turned them into a owl and dinosaur, and the only issue with grimlock in the earthspark series for me is that they barely showed his robot mode in the arena

Earthspark has had a nice balance between classic g1 and newer iterations of the characters. The designs feels old, but new. And the toys have had a great balance between recreating the designs from the show while having a good figure. Like these guys have a nice articulation and can do nice poses too

I do NEED this to put him along Cyberverse Slug, this looks absolutely great and I am so glad we went back to masked Grim... I'm sorry, but having him with a "human" face really wasn't working for me. I like the shade of grey they used, it hopefully won't yellow like the one on the Cyberverse counterpart. If I was to make a complaint, it would be the lack of a sword: I like the good old two barrel blaster, bur Grim NEEDS a sword! If Slug can have his axe AND his flamethrower, Grimlock should have had his blaster AND his sword. Sooo... yeah I definetly need to get this... and maybe the Cyberverse warrior Snarl (not the best, but not really bad either... surely better than the Ultra Sludge and the crash-combiner Swoop).

Hasbro actually released all the Dinobots in the Cyberverse line. Grimlock/Slug/Sludge/Snarl are individual figures while Swoop is being released as a combiner 2 pack with Bumblebee (which is unfortunate since the combiner designs aren't really that great). You may want to check out Sludge and Snarl as I think aesthetically they may fit well with this new Grimlock.

Not following Eathspark but for a G1 redux Grimlock this is about near perfect. Aside from the missing blast effect would have also loved for this guy to come with a sword but instead he comes with a human limb. First time seing that Cyberverse Grimlock and it is hilariously hideous. This however may be a pickup for me as my last Grimlock was from Animated.

I was never able to wrap my head around the Cyberverse Grimlock transformation. That tail was unreasonably frustrating and I just gave up since the only reason I have the figure at all is because I trying to get all the pieces of Maccadam.

In my own personal opinion, the deluxe annihilates the warrior version. It has a amazing possibility a fantastic robot mode and a cool yet stylish truck. Yes there's a backpack but the warrior version has one as well. Deluxe is also alot bigger and it has better weapons. I would easily recommend it even if you hate or love Earthspark. One of my favorite primes in my collection

I have that Cyberverse figure and it actually looks like they fixed some of the clearance issues with the remolding cause the tail on mine is a lot harder to transform. Everything in that tail is just a mess of things banging into each other. I noticed in the video the tip that ends up in the back of the legs is slightly shorter which fixes clearance issues, the robot head and feet are different molds which fix clearance issues in the beast mode. There also seems to be new molding that keeps the two halves of the tail more securely together in beast mode. Oh and even on the original figure the back pack very easily comes loose on the robot mode, you're not really missing anything with the new head.

This is probably the only good kids transformer series I've watched! Keep up the good work prime! and to be honest the new design is pretty good i love that they kept some of his G1 looks but when in robot mode I don't really like to keep the claw's folded in so i fold them out

Y'know, this is probably my favorite iteration of Grimlock besides others and besides, I don't care if this toy's a retool of Cyberverse Grimlock cuz' I'd rather take this Grimlock over the one from Cyberverse anyday since in the Earthspark show, Grimlock's voiced by Keith David since I enjoyed his other voice roles like Spawn and Goliath lol.
