Here a video on road Caesar! In this video you’ll see how he’s combined. How his weapons combine to make a larger sword. I’ll do some size comparisons as well with other generation one toys, to give you an idea on how big this guy is .

I’ve honestly with the case of most of my Japanese figures, just taken them out of the box and if they’re already in robot mode left them. If not transformed them once to display. They’re as good as new most of them so they’re so tight. With the Japanese figures there’s no grey area. They’re either mint and unused or heavy played with. I’m redoing star convoy soon and that’s only been transformed once for the last video I did. So that’ll be a good one too.

@@ToysareRuss Maybe because they’re so rare here; examples are either from a Japanese child’s toybox or were imported and kept MIB by adult collectors?

@@bumblejumper82 I think you’ve pretty much nailed it with that. You do obviously find misb examples in japan too. They are obviously very meticulous and are well known for preserving things in great condition.

Hi Russ, I had this set when I was a kid. I bought it in Asia in 1992. The middle guy broke when i was playing with it, so i abandoned it. Eventually within the last ten years or so, I donated the red and yellow cars and threw away the accessories. I was not aware of how valuable they were since there wasn't much information on it, nor did I know what it was called. It was only in the past month that I started to build my vintage G1 transformers collection. One thing I notice is that the head piece and breast plate of the set I had were teal in color instead of the blue. However, all other pieces are identical. I wonder if mine was a special edition. It was not a knock off because I bought it from a reputable chain. Unfortunately, I threw away all the pieces, so I would not be able to share it with anybody.

So sorry to hear that you threw them away. The only explanation is that it could have sunfaded. As there are no other known variants of these accessories.

@@ToysareRuss thanks. upon further research, i found out that it was knock off. I was looking at online pictures of it and i am surprised to see that the quality was very good. The only difference are the colors. I would do anything to have that version again. The knockoff version sold for very high price in the past on eBay. For now I can only settle for the original version. It's the sentimental value that makes me want the one i lost. The original set is easy to find.

You are correct but the euro releases obviously weren’t intended to, due to no combiner kibble, artwork or story of them doing this.
