During the making of this huge video, I considered splitting it up into seasons originally, but the idea of having a 6-hour long video really excited me. Of course, the main problem is that a lot of people won't sit through 6 hours, and I know some Transformers fans only care about specific seasons of G1, so this helps navigation better as I've time stamped all the episodes. I'd say with Season 2, there are a few unofficial arcs that are based off their common link. Such as the Dinobots arc, where you see them growing more tired of being pushed around to saving the Autobots, and then redeeming themselves at the end of "Desertion Of The Dinobots". Then there is whole NYC arc, where a bunch of episodes takes place there (they really should have connected them together). The Combiner arc towards the end of the season. And what could have been a pretty interesting arc with "Child's Play" & "The Gambler", had they made a third episode showing those episodes team coming home. That's what makes Season 2 interesting, and that carried over to Season 3.

While I don't necessarily agree with the idea that every robot in G1 had a unique personality (there are some G1 characters I've completely forgot about and/or unsure why they stuck around as legacy characters), this video did help me remember some old favorites of mine like Warpath and my boy Tracks

Season 2 is more of the weird part of the series. Though, the first half of season was like season 1 but as went to mid, we get new characters that came out of nowhere, and the last few episodes introducing the scramble city combiners.

best line in triple takeover: "Leader? How do you figure THAT, Choo-choo brain?" (Thundercracker). For some reason I always missed the first half of this episode during the initial run so I never even knew the episode name - until the G2 reruns in 1993. I had so many questions before I saw it all the way through, but once I did NONE OF THEM WERE ANSWERED! Like, what the heck was Ironhide talking about when he said "we shoulda gotten rid of them when we hand the chance [Megatron and Starscream"? SO MANY QUESTIONS!

I completely forgot about Optimus being completely done with Perceptor most of the time. Triple Takeover is my favourite episode out of this season; Golden Lagoon is a close second. Also holy crap the animation errors in “Child’s Play” are SO bad! I remember watching that episode years ago and I recall the scene where they get into the rocket being janky, but it’s so much worse than I remembered lmao
