Peaugh I think your the first person to review this figure that hasn't said that IDW Orion Pax becomes WFC Optimus Prime. I'm so sick of people mixing up the various G1 continuities with the Aligned continuity. :)

with the shrunken figures hasbro is giving us at the price of the deluxes(ok a little bit more expensive but not for too much) the question is, would you pay more if they where as big as previous deluxes? would you pay the price they should be with the current economy? i say this because im dissapointed that these generations are so tiny

Pax is suppose to be smaller since he was kind of Scout size. He gets bigger when he becomes Optimus. He is suppose to be smaller then Bee, since Bee in that form is a leader.

I agree Orion Pax is a fun little toy. I wished they could have some how made the gun fold up and fit under the huge hollow area under the hood. I don't mind him being small given his tech specs show he's physically weaker than Bumblebee. Obviously, Pax needs the Matrix to make him grow bigger!

Ya... for some reason BumbleBee was the biggest out of the wave. However, this wave is truly awesome, the scale and size are the only things they could've done to improve it. In fact, I would say if BumbleBee (as he is now) was the smallest figure with Orion, Megs, and Cutter all scaled up; then that would be PERFECT!

It wouldn't be as bad to be at the old 9.99 ot 10.99 pricepoints but deluxe run almost 17.00 in my area and its hard to warrant that price for such small figures...

Sure, the Tranformers Prime Universe stablishes Pax was just a "clerk, always plugged into a computer managing and organizing data", but well, they just can't deliver a 'former without weapons do they? And yeah they went a bit over the top with the similarities between Pax and Optimus Prime, especially with the weapons but what we can do...

my favorite figure of this line... bumblebee is crap, megatron is weak, trailcutter is... well, at least we have a trailcutter now. peaugh, when in truck mode, leave one hand hanging out, and place the rifle into the hand, hanging under the hand, across the back of the vehicle... now you have a bumper, lol.. ditch the axe

Great Toy but I really never liked the way IDW has handled the stories in the Transformers Universe.I loved how the DREAMWAVE comics were doing but then they didn't handle their financials all that good & went down.Still again good design on this Pax :)

I'm sad to say that this IDW comics incarnation is a very lackluster design for the character. It's like a "L'il Optimus". It's like he wont be a Prime until after he goes through robo-puberty and grows trailer! I would have rather seen a mold made that more closely resembled the character as he appeared in the episode" War Dawn" from the original cartoon.
