I actually picked her up a couple months ago. I got the figure home and she was so loose and nothing would tab together right. looked closer and found several of her parts were actually warped. So I did something I'd never done before and took her back and exchanged her... Got Jhaxis instead... MUCH better figure!

Guess the one revision they overlooked was giving her heels a locking point. Oh well, the rest of them do give me renewed interest in the figure. Thanks for addressing it or I probably would have never known!

I mainly got her for the sake of "the first fan built transformer" and it'll be pretty historical later on. But when I got her in hand I REALLY started to like her as a figure alone. The designs are nice, the sword is a super cool and new touch, and I like me some fembots. Solid review once again!

Her sword scabbard can also be tabbed into the back of her waist, there's a little notch there that fits the tabs on her scabbard. It's a little hard to see, but it's just about the peg hole used to store the scabbard in jet mode.

I plan on purchasing the Takara Windblade. The more comic accurate face is miles ahead of hasbro's.

I think the head sculpt is suppose to look more like Alex Milne's Windblade.

My wind blade is actually a mixed bag, her joints are good, not a lot of trouble with the heels, but she has a stress mark on her right knee, and what appears to be the right arm starting to break

So I voted in the poll for a red and black sword wielding jet autobot named Windblade but have absolutely no desire to own this toy... The alt mode missteps and bot mode frailty just turn me off to it.

One thing you can do, and I've started to do it myself, is when you pose her on a flat surface you stick your pinky finger between her foot and heel to prevent the heel from collapsing. It's a bit awkward, but once you get the hang of it you can use the rest of your fingers to manipulate the rest of her (shut up! You dirty hobbitses!). My favorite thing to do? Have her hold Orion Pax's gun. She looks so bad ass with a big gun. :D Like her sword (Stormfall) has been lost and she has to improvise with a fallen Orion Pax's gun and axe.

I actually discovered something interesting. On my figure, at least, if you peg the sheathe into the nose cone, the figure actually stands better. When I did it on the hip she would wobble and fall easily but with it in the nosecone it appear to add enough wait pressing down on the heels to keep them from collapsing. Makes it must easier to get her to stand.

I have one of the whole black foot windblades and all of her joints are super tight. The problem is those gosh darn heels but inspite of them I still think she one of the best deluxe to come this year. Also in think the Tamara windblade is going to look a bit weird due to the shape of the toys face that comicly-er deco is just going to be wonky

I've never been into the Transformers comics. I tried jumping on at a couple of points but could never get into it. I really loved the Windblade min-series though, and I completely fell in love with the character but I just couldn't stay interested in the comics after that. Every panel she isn't in is a panel I don't care about. :( You're right, she was made for aerial posses. :)

oh been meaning to ask you son, who do you feel about the addition of the bg music your now adding to your vids? was it just part of the process and you thought "its about time for some stuff lightly playin in the distance" or something like that ?

CobraCommanderTFW yeah, it also fills in what I felt to be an audio gap, smooths edits a little, and makes it way less jarring to me when transformation montage music starts up

Vangelus yea i could see that, i havent listened to it to hard but are they all different tracks or just similar ones and what did you use to make them as it might be good to have a basic understanding of sound creation for myself

I don't see what the moving fans add to this toy. They could have budgeted that part out (and get rid of the useless heel joint) and instead use the freed-u^parts budget so the feet could collapse more in vehicle mode.

The weirdest thing for me about windlass is that in the RID show she has an emelia airheart kinda voice, when she looks all samurai. It's a little off putting
