Bought a preowned version for £40 (currently still at full price at £55) and he had arrived today. Honestly I'm not that big of a fan of the yellow colour scheme but begger can't be chooser due to how much of an scalper price the original has become! He still good thought as I used to have and loved the olde G1 toy!

Your knocking these toxitron reviews out of the park! Im a huge fan of G2 Grimlock. His colours pop especially the metallic blues against the yellow body. My only gripe is when viewed from the front he looks like a banana! Needs an autobot symbol or something to break up the colour. Thanks for putting this one out!

Most toy stores in UK where I'm from stock only mainline and not the sublines, smiths did with the first wave of Velocitron but the exclusives for Walmart and the likes we have to order off Hasbro and need to be lucky to secure one. I get paid monthly and have missed a few sadly.

I never managed to get hold of the Studio Series Leader Class Grimlock, and this guy was on offer recently, so I picked one up. Dang, he's a Big Boy, isn't he! Pretty much the same height as Studio Series Ultra Magnus! My only issue with his size, is that he makes Leader Class Toxitron and the other G2 Legacy Evolution Toxitron figures look positively anaemic!

@@ToysareRuss I moved a few books out of the way and made some space in my shelving for the full Toxitron line, lol. I have Leader Toxitron and Grimmy for now - Mirage, Sideswipe, Cloudcover and Jazz in the post and on the way.. I'm still umming and ahhing about the other two, as they don't really appeal to me, but I guess I should get them, if only to complete the set.

All for the other Generation 2 versions becoming redecoes! Me Grimlock now in unreleased G2 colours! This might be the most ridiculous colour scheme going for a Dinobot! It really, really stands out though. Looks incredible in robot mode, the metallic blue really pops.

Why should medix of been in the toxitron line? Medix is from rescue bots and not an unreleased G2 concept like the toxitron line is

Only because of his colour scheme. Toxitron wasn’t an unrealised G2 figure though. That was a later toyline. So it’s not just a G2 unreleased figure toyline.

@ToysareRuss I knew toxitron wasn't an unreleased design just the rest, really hoping they continue it. I didn't realise it was all one wave. I actually thought grimlock, sideswipe, mirage, laser cycle and dead end where wave 2 as I had the other 3 for about 3 months before these where released. I was really bummed out they decided not to do a package refresh of shadowstrip and gave us laser cycle instead as I could not get shadowstrip or crasher anywhere.

Actually didn’t. Even moved the back part out of the way to show you that it will go all the way around without restriction. Then showed how far it would go back with the dinosaur wings right up against the back.

@@ToysareRuss Yes, I watched the video. You rotated the arm around the shoulder, but you didn't raise his arm. Think putting his arms in a "T" pose, or raise his arms away from his body. This must be a G1 thing since most G1 figures were not able to do this. When you rotated his arm , the arm stays parallel to the body. See if you can get the arm to be parallel with the floor, or 90 degrees from the body. Spinning the arm doesn't show full shoulder articulation. I hope this makes sense. I appreciate all of your videos and how much content you put out. Just wanted to make this suggestion because it is consistent in all of your reviews

Was never a huge fan of the dinobots back in G1, but this crazy colour scheme is nice. Can't really justify the price though, so will wait and see if he is available for less at some point. Nice review as always Russ. 👍
