Ok I'm busted for bypassing Iguanus, I did see him but passed on him because, like you said, no knowledge of the character. I completely agree on what you said about Core Skywarp, got him already from the other series, but Iguanus I may have to pick up. I know you will not be into every Legacy figure coming out, but there will be a few you may actually be surprisingly impressed with or legitimately be disappointed with, just gotta wait for that one review patiently, it's like another trial episode, lol. Great review on Iguanus, gonna have to get him for the collection. :)

GotBot Bro, This one is really awesome! Have had so much fun messing around with it. The quality for its size (in this economy) is truly astounding! It's not often we have a figure that's both 3mm & 5mm compatible (underside of fist for the latter). I would leave it displayed Vs. the BotCon Pretender Metalhawk for best effect. This is very good. As it stands, Top 5 from Wave 1 of Legacy for sure [together with Blaster, Bulkhead, Kickback & (lastly) Dragstrip] at least in my books. Stay awesome, my bro.

My Metalhawk is yhe boxset one, but, yes, the Botcon one is very good too. I don't think I have a top 5 lol. I count Blaster and Galvatron at Kingdom. Bulk is a fine enough mold, nothing reminds me remotely of Bulk about ot though, at least from the neck down. Dragstrip is one I'd hoped the waist would be a little more fit n finish, otherwise he's fine, not amazing, but fine. Some clever Transformation to car mode bits. I really dif Igunaus here, Kickback surprised me a lot. Infinitely digging the Skids over the Generations.

@@DennisMoultonAKAGotBot Get where you are coming from, good bro. Bulkhead has tremendous future redeco/retool potential. His backwards-compatibility with Mini-Cons, Arms Microns, Powercore weapon partners, Energon/SuperLink weaponry as well as the various capsule Microns (especially of himself as large pummel fists) sold him for me. I got the original Kingdom-packaged Blaster for my birthday in Jan, but he bears transparent gimmicry befitting the Legacy line, in spite of the branding. So he is part of Legacy in essence. The IDW Metalhawk is awesome too (albeit being purely robotic) & interacts sublimely with the POTP weapon version since he is also a Titan Master (thus interchangeable with the ecto-suited Prime Master). The BotCon version is equal to Iguanus here because of his organic humanoid form like the latter's organic reptilian mode (just like the organic-shell Deluxe Thunderwing design from RTS/United, which would be ideal as a partner for Iguanus, simultaneously lending a sense of continuity to the departure from the actual full Predender feature of G1). Dragstrip 'wiggles' at the detachable connector. (The slight gap/leeway is a given requirement to prevent breakage through play-related strain/stress.) Kickback definitely had the lion's share of the developmental budget (not just because of the retracted opening chest feature which costs money to design, and again to render void), but also because of the amount of solid plastic used. Like Siege Reflector, he is probably made to scale with the larger CW/UW Constructicons/Devastator rather than the mainline scale. (I like how we have assorted display options because of this size discrepancy, plus this Legacy Insecticon can be placed with the previous hordes of Kickbacks we collected from FOC/TF United & TR/LG!) NOTE: Beware of the QC on Legacy Kickback though. Had to personally go through 4 Kickbacks thoroughly with reading glasses to find a decent one. (Most had blemishes on the face/antenna paintwork and visible stress marks where the pin passes through at the transparent torso/waist part.) But I do like how his blades can merge to seamlessly form the insect abdomen (undocumented). All we have to do is pop out the back feet of the insect from their ball joints & swap them with each other to hide the wired/hosed waffles/gaps & give Kickback a 'cleaner' look overall (zero gaps in alt mode). (Plus everything is designed to fit both ways!) Might be in anticipation of the retool(s) to come! Stay awesome, mate!

Hey Dennis! Have you ever done a top 10 core class figures video yet? Just curious on your opinion on these. I like displaying them with city formers and combiners, as the scale works well with them. My favourite so far is Iguanus and Bomb Burst.

I think it would have to be Legends really since core is another name for Legends, then again, so was Cyberverse Commander in the Prime days. I don't think we have yet. I'll have to double check.

I'm fine with ball joints on core class. I don't have any particularly strong argument about why I think they're okay for core class and not for deluxes and larger, but I suppose it's just a preference. ...maybe it's because I'm not particularly invested in core class and don't care for any of them beyond Rattrap and Soundwave, the former of which I got because I needed a Rattrap, the latter of which I got because I thought it would be funny to display him in tape recorder mode with Beast Wars Ravage.

This guy looks great, but I don’t like that price. I love how the outer shell Transforms to the inner’s alt mode. The originals’ inner robots were so bland, and it’s the outer shells that were interesting, so this and rotf Bludgeon are the way to go. I’d get him on a sale, say 30% , so around 12$.

@@DennisMoultonAKAGotBot Totally. 10 years ago we paid $16.99 for a deluxe. Obviously inflation jacks that up; or @ the same price, the product amount goes down. But to go down to the Basic size? That's too much; although you make a good argument with the higher quality of engineering.

I actually like the core class but I only got characters who are that size, ie rattrap, ravage though I did get Soundwave seeing as I collect him a looooot.

Went to place the other day to get silverstreak ended up with this guy too and for some reason he's hard to find where I am had to go out of town to get the 2 but saved 20 bucks compared to toysrus
