I wasn't expecting this too look any good from the photos But this is a Huge Step up from Volcanicus. Only complaint is the gaps in the Ankylo's arm mode

The took the vulcanicus upgrades kit that everyone wanted and incorporeated them in to the transformation.

Essentially volcanicus was a repaint of dinoking and not the other way...😢

Most people knew that as soon as they revealed that a core class Volcanicus was gonna have 6 components it was gonna be a precursor to a core class Dinoking combiner.

I've only ever had core classes in the past, so I'm not sure whether I should get this combiner set or go for the more expensive Menasor combiner set. Fyi, I'm not a collector, but the last time I ever got any Transformers was in the mid 2000s, so this would be my first purchase since then. Thanks.

If you like little desk toys, maybe opt for the Dinoking one but if you want a larger, display one or complex transformation then get Menasor. (Just get it before his aftermarket prices skyrocket)

there are a couple of different third party sets that do pretty much the same thing as this set did. heck, the one i got uses the same plug for the feet connection.

The YYW-40 upgrade kit on EBay is pretty good. 3D printed but it still gets the job done.
