I can believe Megs would stick to his Cybertronian tank mode. He did complain about the "ugly Earth disguises" in the G1 cartoon. Anyways, his Siege tank and robot mode looks better in my opinion. The head sculpt also looks weird. I know some other people said Hasbro probably did it for the G2 repaint, but they gave the Siege G2 a different head sculpt.

Wow I didn’t know you could use Siege Soundwave’s blaster as Meg’s gun barrel for his back. Looks really good and reminiscent to his G1 look. Thanks for the info!

I wonder if anyone has swapped the new Megatron head with the Siege one if it's possible. I did that with Optimus and he looks better in my opinion. Great review as always, Paul.

Awesome review on earthrise megatron very opinionated and direct i have the original wfc Siege Megatron already but after watching your review I'm convinced I gotta get earthrise Megs "no matter the cost " keep it up and good work on your videos👍

Thank you for Ponting out the thing with saying that megatron is to proud to have a earth mode. He done that since g1 and peaple do forget that it is necessary for the deceptions to use earth disguises cause there playing smart. And besides proud incarnations of Megatron have stuck to that rule like the idw incarnation of Megatron remember his six phase infiltration protocol

I don't own the Siege toy, so I appreciate the ER. I enjoy the more solid collar piece (too solid OOB, but I got it fixed), the ankles and the more cohesive tank compared to the Siege toy anyways.

I don't really think that it's necessary for me to get the Earthrise figures of Prime and Megatron since I have the Siege counterparts. However, I am impressed how Hasbro has improved the G1 characters. I can't wait for the Kingdom line to be released. I'm looking forward on your review on MPM Ratchet. Great reviews!

Gonna skip this and get the Beast Wars One. Would like a more accurate g1 voyager megatron but guess that’s illegal or something. That one looks fantastic. And I’m not even into Beast Wars. A Semi Truck vs T Rex makes sense to me.

The back kibble which is visible from the front ruins his silhouette and makes earth rise Megatron look worse in robot mode. Earth rise does have a better alt mode but Megatron is a character that is most likely to be used in Robot mode. I'm going to stick with my cel shaded siege megatron.

@@cyberdude4 He doesn't upgrade the Siege one in any way except maybe for the tank treads aligning better. The sword is stupid, and the head sculpt is awful. In my opinion. It just seems like they wanted to force a Megatron into Earthrise. At least Optimus got a trailer.
