I remember back in the day I would watch your MP-10 review over and over again because I loved that figure and wanted it more than anything. However many years later and I’ve gone through college, grown up, experienced a lot. I’ve had MP-10 long enough to see it become outdated. Watching a G1 Optimus Prime review on this channel sends me back to those days. Hope all is well!

I still remember when I was introduced to your channel with the video review of Leader Class Revenge of The Fallen Optimus Prime 15 years ago... Then for a while I stopped collecting Transformers (specially after Age of Extinction), until I saw your review of Earthrise Optimus Prime and started again collecting Transformers. Now SS86 Optimus Prime finally arrived and it's so nice to still see your channel hold up, you are one of the few reviewers that genuinely enjoy the experience of this new era of Transformers, as collector items but also as what they were and always will be... Toys. Keep reminding us to just enjoy this ride that make us go back to our childhood :)

I was waiting for your review for quite some time. I miss your intros however. I think this is the best mainline Optimus Prime so far. I sold off my masterpiece collection recently to trim down my collection. It was becoming too much maintaining two lines. Since the voyager scale quality has drastically improved over the years, I decided to keep the smaller scale. The voyager scale and deluxe scale are almost masterpiece quality now anyway.

If the repaint is just Optimus, the gun and maybe the axe at around $60 USD I’d think about it but if Hasbro releases it with the trailer roller and all the blast effects at current commander class price point, I will not be buying it. I actually think they should rerelease just Optimus Prime with the gun and with out the rest for about $60 and I bet it would sell even more.

For me, this figure is the most disapointing figure 2024. So many QC issues, parts that don't fit good together, paintshipping...all in this pricecategory is not acceptable for me.
